How is civil at MNNIT Allahabad?
If you strictly want a 7-figure salary during the campus placements, then Civil Engineering is not for you, neither here at MNNIT Allahabad, nor at any other institute. Even IIT Bombay placement offers will not look lucrative compared to their other branches.

Now, many things need to be improved in the system in general like
- Industrial visits: The promised visits to the industries are never made and thus there is a considerable lack of exposure.
- Workshops and Labs: Workshops and Labs have obsolete equipment of substandard quality. There is a need to make the lab sessions more interesting by providing better lab equipment and conductive kinky sessions.
- Food Quality: Bad quality food hinders the thinking capabilities of the students. The Food Service Routine should be like an Interrupt Service Routine in the priority program of the human mind at IIT.
- Professors: While some professors are great and experienced, some just come and speak bookish gibberish leaving no space for dynamic discussions or doubt-clearing sessions.
Which is better: CS at NIT Kurukshetra or CS at BIT Mesra?
CS at BIT Mesra is far better than CS at NIT Kurukshetra. It offers better academics, placements, and exposure. Students of the institute get ample networking opportunities thanks to the huge alumni base. CSE at BIT Mesra has a placement rate of around 92%. The average salary package for the branch is INR 13 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, etc. recruit through BIT Mesra placements.
How is the five year integrated BBA-MBA course at Nirma University?
Nirma University offers a BBA-MBA integrated course which is quite amazing in the curriculum framework. Here, students get an opportunity to experience the actual corporate world through internships and interactions with business experts. But you can not expect the same in terms of extracurricular exposure.
Nirma University has an amazing culture. If you wish to spend 3-5 years in any B-School, it must be Nirma. Which is better, NIT Kurukshetra or NIT Jalandhar?
Both NITs are essentially the same. In previous years, NIT Kurukshetra was ranked higher than NIT Jalandhar, but rankings don't really matter the most. In the end, it all comes down to how hard you work during your four years of college.
In terms of placement, choosing CS or ECE rarely makes a difference because the placements of these branches are remarkably similar in all NITs.
Which college is better - SPA Delhi or CEPT university?
Which will be better between SPA Delhi and CEPT University depending on the course you are choosing. If you want to pursue a B.Plan or B.Arch degree then SPA Delhi is a better choice. For a master’s degree, both of these colleges are decent options. However, the fee structure of the institutes is quite different. Is it benificial to do MBA from Indian Maritime University (IMU)?
MBA in Shipping and Port Management is a niche field of study. But this course is in high demand. If you are interested in the field, it doesn’t really matter that it is a specialized field. A graduate in Shipping and Port Management with decent skills makes almost double/triple of their equivalent MBA graduates. The reason for it is the less number of good Maritime professionals.
IMU offers decent MBA courses. The Kolkata campus has a good faculty base. However, you shouldn’t entirely depend on the on-campus placement drive for employment. If you have the required skills, you can easily get placement opportunities.
What is the use of an MTech in CSE at IIIT Bangalore when we can get 11 LPA just by switching jobs?
I completed my M.Tech CSE from IIIT Bangalore some years ago. This makes me eligible to answer your query.
Here are some reasons why this degree is more beneficial for your career than simply switching jobs-
- As an M.Tech CSE graduate from IIITB, you’ll be offered much more than 11 LPA. You can expect to get around 15-16 LPA as your starting CTC.
- Top companies like Microsoft recruit from the IIITB campus.
- Companies like TCS have very low workloads, and the work is mostly brainless. This can make you lazy. An M.Tech course will help exercise your brain.
- It’s difficult to switch from service based companies to product-based MNCs. You may end up in a service based company or a product-based startup post-switching.
- M.Tech graduates from IIITB are much more likely to get into a product based MNC.
- The college tag will open more opportunities for you career-wise.
- You can access good off campus opportunities as Bangalore is the ideal place for tech professionals.
- At college, you’ll spend your time studying AI/ML, and developing your coding skills.
- You may not get to develop these abilities at your workplace. They may give you basic support projects, excel sheet work, etc. Then you’ll have to develop your coding skills post work hours.
Thus, I would recommend you consider an M.Tech CSE from IIITB instead of relying on a job switch.
