What are the must do things at IIT BHU?
Here are a few things for your ‘to do list’ at IIT BHU.
- Explore the city and its surroundings. The narrow alleys, ghats, strange temples, and their age-old construction will enchant you.
- Try local food, lassi, thandai, paan. The best places for trying these delicacies are Kaashi Ghat, Bhandar, etc.
- You can just roam around the campus with your friends. It is vast and beautiful.
What is the placement statistics for mechanical in NIT Patna?
NIT Patna placements 2023 witnessed so far and the highest package and average package stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively. The lowest package was recorded at INR 6 LPA. The mechanical engineering department reported a maximum placement rate of 129 %.
Since the institute does not release official figures for branch-wise placements, I asked a friend at NIT Patna about the exact scenario. Here is what he shared
- The highest salary package offered was 19 LPA.
- Almost 6 students got placed in this course.
- The minimum salary package offered was 18.5 LPA.
- The average salary package offered was 10.5 LPA.
- Top recruiting companies are PSU, Lloyd, etc.
The top recruiters during NIT Patna placements 2023 included CRED, Google, Adobe, Oracle, PhonePe, etc.
How is the library and the faculty at AIIMS Bhopal?
I had the opportunity to visit AIIMS Bhopal as I was meeting a friend who called me to the library to discuss something. AIIMS Bhopal, well known for its beautiful infrastructure has a central library which has about 3 floors.
- The library in AIIMS Bhopal is beautifully designed and has attractive architecture.
- The best part was its sitting arrangement which was unique and quite comfortable
- The library was fully AIR Centralized
- The library also had computers to access e-books and other study materials.
- The library also had access to free wifi
- Clean washrooms and a drinking water facility were also available.
- The ambiance inside the library was peaceful
However, I found that the library lacked enough variety of books and should be stacked with better books. Overall, AIIMS Bhopal Library is a beautiful and peaceful place to study.
Why is it that IIIT Bangalore students are the only ones who consider IIIT Bangalore to be among the top institutions?
I am assuming you mean this for its UG programs. IIIT Bangalore is highly renowned for its PG degrees.
The institute is popular among academia and industry. However, it isn’t popular among students who are fresh out of school. This is because its UG courses aren’t that old. However, many students still opt for IIITB because of the huge potential of its undergraduate programs.
In practice, IIITB has a lot to offer. Students begin appreciating it upon experiencing the campus culture up close. It offers top notch faculty, curriculum, peers, labs and industry connections. CSE/ECE students get ample opportunities and facilities for their all-round development. Its integrated courses are performing well and making a mark with each passing year. You may check the placement records of the college.
IIIT Bangalore is a strong competitor in PG studies, and making steady progress with its integrated programs as well.
Which is better, BITS Pilani Dubai or Manipal University Dubai, for Computer Science Engineering?
BITS Pilani is the number 1 private engineering college in India and is one of the largest engineering colleges in Dubai. Manipal University Dubai attracts over 1500 students all over the world and has a campus that stretches over 75 acres.

It offers B.E.(Hons) in Computer Science and provides its students with an updated and industry-related curriculum.

The CS department of BITS Pilani is in association with the MSDN and hence students are free to use the most advanced and updated tools.

There are currently 350 students and 10 faculty members in the C.S. department. BITS Pilani has faculties from reputed institutions like IITs, IISc, and its sister branches in India, all of whom have a Ph.D. or are in the process of getting one.
Manipal University:

Which hostel does the IPM girls in IIM Indore stay?
I have a few friends from IIM Indore and I learned about the hostel accommodation, on-campus through them.
As mentioned by my friends, the girls from their first three IPM years are given to stay at a recently established Student Residence 10, also known as SR - 16. It is in front of the cricket stadium.
On the other hand, the girls from both IPM fourth and fifth years stay with the PGPs in the SR 11 - 14. The hostel is adjacent to the SR - 18, i.e. the IPM Boys Hostel.
What is the fee structure of NLSIU Bangalore?
One of my friends studied at NLSIU Bangalore. According to him, it is a good institute that provides proper learning and training. He also mentioned the fee structure, which I think might be useful to you.
Fee structure for B.A, LLB (Hons) for the academic year 2021-2022, first-year students is as follows:

The Total Fees General Category; Rs. 2.88 LPA and the Total Fees SC/ST Category: Rs.2.85 LPA. Fee structure from 2nd year onwards, there will be a tuition and facility fee of 1.73 LPA, with hostel charges of INR 25,000 and Mess charges of INR 21,000.
How good is CEPT University?
CEPT University is an old and reputed university. It ranks among the top universities for architecture. It has great faculty and environment. The culture on the campus is quite friendly. You can easily approach the faculties.
The campus is huge and well-equipped with up-to-date facilities and teaching methodology. The staff and student union on campus are also quite co-opearative.
Which college should I choose, peripheral AIIMS or KGMU?
One of my cousins got selected in both AIIMS Gorakhpur and KGMU. However, he chose KGMU because of the following reasons
- KGMU is a state college.
- It is one of the oldest colleges and has a legacy of more than 100 years.
- It has a huge patient inflow
- It’s most famous for its beautiful Infrastructure and lush green campus.
- It’s the capital of UP so there are many location advantages too.
However, the only drawback is that you will have to serve the bond for 2 years.
AIIMS Gorakhpur on the other hand is a newly established institute so it will take time to grow.
How is BA economics from DTU (East campus)?
BA Economics Honors is a newly launched program by DTU that is delivered under the department called the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME). Other programs offered under this department are BBA and MBA.
Here are a few highlights pertaining to the BA Economics Honors:
- The faculty is highly experienced and hails from reputed colleges. There are many inspirational professionals, one such being Dr. KV Bhanumurthy, Rtd. Dean of DSE who teaches Economics to first-year students.
- DTU BA Economics curriculum is somewhat similar to DU or IP University curriculum. Usually, the electives are finalized by the faculty after receiving the consent of students.
- DTU has a 75% attendance rule to maintain the decorum of academic ambiance here.
- The campus is new so it’s still in the development phase.
Overall, I believe this institute in general and this program specifically has a lot of potential and anyone who fails to get into DU for Economics should consider joining it.
