Is there any advantage of doing an M.Tech from NIT Raipur?
NIT Raipur offers many advantages to M.Tech students. Students receive decent placement opportunities through the campus drive. Many reputed companies take part in NIT Raipur placements. Amazon, Oracle, Code Nation, Paytm, etc. are among the major recruiters for the institute. According to the recent placement highlights, the average CTC offered is around INR 8 LPA.
NIT Raipur has an excellent faculty base. The professors have years of experience in their respective fields. NITR focuses on delivering a hands-on learning experience through industry visits and regular technical events.
How are the placements of the Army Institute of Technology Pune?
The placement at the Army Institute of Technology Pune is very good.

If IIIT Bangalore MTech in CS/IT is that good, why it has so low GATE cutoff?
IIIT Bangalore does not offer any UF program and this translates to poor reputation. The majority of the student community and major recruiters are unaware of the college's existence. However, it offers a unique integrated course which is one of its kind graduate courses.
The uniqueness lies in the fact that the M.Tech course offered by IIIT Bangalore is majorly industry oriented in contrast to the research-focused curricula in other top institutions. This is also the reason why many major IT companies visit the college for campus placements and students get placed better than most of the IITs. It’s likely to become better in the future with its increasing demand and reputation and will stand at par with IITs.
So grab the seat while you can!
How is the first day at KIIT? Give me a campus tour of KIIT. What facilities are there, like hostels, sports areas, a library, Audi, etc., with the help of pictures?
KIIT is a massive yet beautiful campus that is divided according to branches of various programs. These are named after famous rivers of India. I will share the first-day experience of my brother who was very excited to get admission here.
As he reached the campus, he was asked to report to the Central Auditorium in Campus 6 and was also given a form to fill up. In the auditorium, a screen displays the roll numbers. Students are expected to go to the table allocated where they are given their ID card and in a small slip an alphanumeric code is written, which is their room number.
Students are assigned hostels based on the details they filled in earlier. My brother was assigned to Kings’ Palace VII and a bus dropped him off at his hostel. He found a long queue as everyone waited for allotment of their rooms. Students are given time to settle in and bid farewell to their parents which is a very emotional moment.
The next day, the seniors will take you on a campus tour where you're shown all the campuses, the Auditoriums, the KIIT Stadium, the food courts, the Gym, the swimming pool, etc. After this, the hostel orientation takes place and classes begin in the D block.
By now, you will be assured of the great time you will be spending here!
Is NIT Agartala good for electrical engineering?
NIT Agartala is definitely not the best engineering college in India but its Engineering branch is certainly the best in the institute.
- The faculty pool comprises both extremely talented as well as young and passionate professors. Faculties are an amazing combination of experience and.
- The department conducts regular workshops and seminars on the recent trends in the industry.
- Most of the classroom sessions are interesting and knowledgeable unlike other departments
- The EE syllabus is very elaborate so it’s one of the most challenging branches with a maximum workload
- Companies like Infosys and IBM visit the college for mass recruitment. Students are also placed in companies like ABB, Johnson Controls, Havells, Vedanta, L&T and others. Core placements are rare.
So, NIT Agartala Electrical Engineering is a decent choice if you are interested in the field genuinely.
Is Jaipuria College good for an MBA?
Jaipuria Institue of Management (JIM) has 4 branches i.e. Lucknow (oldest), Noida, Jaipur, and Indore. My brother has completed his MBA from the Noida branch hence this answer will be based on his experience for JIM, Noida. Take a look at the pros and cons below to get a gist of the institute.
PROS:
- Legacy: Noida branch isn’t the oldest but it definitely is the fastest growing branch in terms of recognition in the industry and job prospects.
- Scholarships: If you have got good marks in 10th, 12th, and great score in MAT/CAT you are eligible for a good amount of scholarship. My brother got Rs 1 lakh of scholarship and his MAT percentile was 99.4.
- Placements: You can grab decent packages there as compared to its counterpart colleges that fall in the same tier i.e. because of the faculty and the placement team which. Also, my brother was once a part of a training placement coordinator. Recently, he came across the news that Amazon recruited from JIM Noida offering 15 LPA which is awesome.
- Academics: You might find the schedule to be a bit tough and busy because of numerous assignments, presentations, exams. However, you will realize that they help you develop multitasking skills that will come in handy in the future.
- Extracurricular: There are ample opportunities for extracurricular activities too and you will be able to balance it well with academics.
- Hostel: Hostels for both girls and boys are well equipped with all basic necessities and leisure activities. Also, you get spacious rooms!
CONS:
- Mess Food: The quality and taste of meals are not up to the mark. Students also complain of hygiene issues.
- Hostel Location: If you are a guy, you’ll get the histel which is situated in a rural area about 3km away from the campus.
Overall, the 2-year tenure of my brother at Jaipuria was great and he doesn’t regret it even a bit. Whichever college you go to, make sure you work hard and keep yourself active for an all-around development.
What is CSJM University like for a B.Tech?
Here are some of the information given by a pass out student from CSJM University :
- The fee structure is not higher than other private colleges as it is a government college and comes under state government universities.
- Admission is given on the basis of the State Entrance Examination conducted by AKTU.
- If you are looking for campus placement opportunities, then you should not join this university. It would be better to look for other career options after doing B.Tech from CSJM.
- You have to put more effort into yourself to secure a future. However, the faculty is supportive but they lack proper resources.
After graduation, you can prepare further for GATE and with a good percentile, join an MNC.
Which one is better, NIT Surathkal ECE or NIT Allahabad CSE?
As an outsider to both these colleges, I have provided below an unbiased comparison of both-
- Campus- The campus of NIT Surathkal is better than NIT Allahabad. It has a private beach of its own and a much more beautiful infrastructure.
- Placements- The placements for CSE from NIT Allahabad are better than ECE from NIT Surathkal. This is because CSE has better placements at present. During the 2023 placement season,CSE department of NIT Allahabad recorded 94.47 % placements of eligible students, with an average CTC of INR 27.57 LPA. The highest CTC stood at 1.35 CPA.
As for the ECE department of NIT Surathkal, the electrical and electronics departments recorded the highest CTC of 32.16 LPA during the 2022 placement season.
- Student Background- NIT Surathkal comprises mostly South Indian students (50% state reservation), while NIT Allahabad will offer you a North Indian crowd.
Both the institutions are good. It is your personal preference which you should consider while making your decision.

How were the placements at IIIT KOTA this year? What are the placement statistics?
The first batch of IIT Kota graduated in 2017 and there were very few students, but still, placements were decent. It actually surprised everyone. One of my friends was a part of the first batch.
Placement Statistics 2017:
The institute only had CSE at first. Almost 60% of students got placed and the highest CTC was 26.5 lakhs/year. In the same year, Amazon selected 6 students from MNIT for internships. Out of those 6 students, 3 were IIITians.
