How do I change my subject in IGNOU? I enrolled in BCA in IGNOU and want to change my subject to BCom or BA history.
If you are willing you change your program keep the following points in mind:

Change of programme from B.A. to B.Com/BTS/BSW or vice-versa or B.com to B.A./BTS/BSW or vice-versa or B.sc to B.A./B.Com/BTS/BSW is permitted only in the first year of study within 30 days from the receipt of the first set of course material.

Change of Programme from B.A./B.Com to BTS/BSW, the student will be required to pay the difference of fee in addition to Rs.500/-

No change is permitted from B.A./B.Com/BTS/BSW to B.sc.

Change of programme in Master’s Degree (MEG/MHD/MPS/MAH/MPA/MSO/MEC/ MARD/M.Com./ MAPY/MAPC) is permitted only in the first year of study within 30 days from the receipt of the first set of course material.
You will have to pay the full fees for the new program you are enrolling in. Also, forgo the fees lid for the previous program. The request for a change of program has to be addressed to the regional director of the respective centre.
Can a SOL DU graduate student apply for L.L.B regular from a Delhi university?
SOL DU is recognized by UGC, so you will be eligible to apply for a regular LLB from Delhi University. The following are the requirements for admission to Delhi University's law school for the LLB degree program.
- You must have a Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or its equivalent with at least 50% marks if you are from General and Other Backward Classes (OBC). However, the cut-off marks for OBC applicants in the Entrance Test will be up to 10% lower than the marks announced for general candidates.
- OBC category students are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements.
- The widows/wards of defense personnel (CW) category are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements for general candidates.
- Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped (PH) category are granted a relaxation of up to 5% in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates.
You will also need to give an entrance examination if you are applying for this course. I recommend that you contact the relevant university for more information.
What exam must one clear and with what cutoff to get into IIIT Hyderabad?
IIIT Hyderabad offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. The admission criteria and cutoff for each program may vary.
For undergraduate programs such as B.Tech, the following exams are accepted:
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- Mode-B Admissions (an exam conducted by IIIT Hyderabad for students who have excelled in academics)
The cutoff for JEE Main is determined based on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, the availability of seats, etc. Hence, the cutoff may vary every year.
For example, in 2021, the JEE Main cutoff for admission to IIIT Hyderabad for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was 1064. However, the cutoff may be different for other programs and categories.
</Which is better, CSE at DTU or civil engineering at IIT Roorkee if my inclination is towards CSE?
If you are sure about your interest in CSE, DTU is the best option for you. However, if you are yet to identify your area of interest then go through the following parameters
- Placement: DTU has ties with huge CSE companies like Amazon, and Microsoft that offer excellent packages to the students even better than Civil at IIT Roorkee. I know many friends from NSITs and DTU that work in Microsoft today.
- Research: The CS department is undoubtedly better in terms of research work and opportunities than the Civil.
- IAS: For IAS, the most preferred branch is Civil. However, if you do for Roorkee, you will have limited options for coaching which can be easily sought at IIT Delhi
- MBA: Again, because of better coaching institutes, IIT Delhi is better to prepare for CAT.

Which is the better, college SIBM Pune or IIM Indore?
Among these, IIM Indore is the better option. Being an IIM it offers better facilities and placements. IIM Indore placements 2022 placements ended with an average CTC of INR 25.01 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 70 LPA.
IIM Indore offers excellent academics, and the faculties of the institute are best in the field. The IIM brand name certainly offers some perks in terms of getting placements, projects, and interships.
