There was a guy Tarun Agarwal of the Electronics Branch and a faculty, Shirshu Verma. I heard this story from a friend. According to him, no one knew what kind of bond these two people had. Looking at them together, nobody could distinguish who is the teacher and who is the student.

Tarun never attended Shirshu Sir’s classes but he had 100% attendance. Usually, some of the other students used to make a proxy for others. When nobody used to make a proxy of Tarun, then he used to mark his attendance. And this happened not once or twice but frequently. In fact not only attendance, but he also used to give him full marks in all his subjects. There might be some secret of Shirshu Sir that only Tarun knows. Most of the batch used to think so. 

There are endless proxy stories in engineering batches and every story is better than the other.

Alliance University is a very good option for B. Tech considering this degree has become a public favorite and is in high demand. There are a number of reasons why B. Tech at Alliance is better than many other institutes. Let me tell you that these degrees are offered by the Alliance School of Engineering and Design.

They are constantly striving to bring new innovations with the use of global and national cases, simulations, role-plays, presentations, fieldwork, and mini-projects. The student-teacher relationship is an intimate one where they will help you via counseling, mentoring, and self-improvement initiatives.
• Networking and Internships: You can take the help of the Office of Career Advancement and Networking to look for industry internships and campus recruitment. It has established networks with industry professionals across many sectors. Moreover, they are well updated on current internships and recruitment opportunities. They also arrange for industry interactions and have a strong alumni network.

The courses here will not just focus on academics but the overall development of the student. You will definitely have a good experience.

It is okay for people who want to have a career in dairy or agriculture. The placement is, however, not completely guaranteed for these courses. The other courses that the institute offers are not worth the money and you will be better off in some other institute. There is a plus though, you will get a lot of time to prepare for the government sector if you opt for SHUATS.

There is no equipment and an attendance of 75% is compulsory for admit cards. The marksheet will not have much impact once you are done with the course. Money is the only agenda of the place so think again. The teachers hardly take the classes and the ones who do, do not make much of a difference.

In Assam University, there is a particular formula that is used to calculate the SGPA of a student where the marks scored by the student and the total marks of the exam are taken into account. It is the average of the grade points of all the subjects and it is calculated on a scale of 10. 

The formula for calculating the grade point is as follows. 

Grade Point = (Marks obtained×10)/Full Marks

So, if you score 40 marks on a paper of 50 marks, then your grade point in this particular paper will be, 40 x 10/50 = 8.

After calculating the grade point of all the subjects, now we will have to add all these grade points and then divide that by the total number of subjects. 

B.Com at Loyola College requires you to pass 4 papers to get a degree or professional qualification and is embedded with the ACCA UK. The college is renowned and has attained good fame in and around the regions of Chennai. 

This might give a good impression but the reality is something else, college is not as good as you think it could be. The reasons are as follows:

• The fees of Loyola College are high.
• There are no rules and regulations followed by the department of B.Com.
• Few faculties can be strict and pressurize you in terms of score and attendance.
• You will receive a lot of stress from the department as it gives more assignments, presentations, and tests than the amount already set by the college. 
• The medical leave is hardly granted to anyone despite submitting all the genuine and related medical documents. It occurs only in the LIAC department.
• For a 15-day internship, which is conducted after every semester, you will be asked to report the daily work in the department. 
• After the completion of the internship, a 50 pages report is also required by the department, without any mistakes. If you fail, then you have to do your internship again.

Don’t even think of doing any course like CPA, CA, or CMA along with the college. There would be no time available for you as the department requires you to be available on campus.
