Based on the last few years' statistics and counseling patterns, FDDI Hyderabad campus is the most popular one among all campuses. It is considered to be one of the best institutes for Design education in Asia. It offers good infrastructure, facilities, and faculty. The labs at the institute are well equipped with latest tools. Due to the locational advantage, you will also get good industry exposure.
The placement on campus is affected by your grades. Most finance and consulting firms are prohibited. So it comes down to startups, Tier 2 marketing, media, and other companies, or companies that hire for attitude.
Once you start working, you will be able to easily make up lost ground if you are willing to hustle and communicate well. As a result, there is no single general rule. Some people in the bottom 20% fare extremely poorly, while others are moderately well. In comparison to the top 20%, where the majority perform exceptionally well and a small minority perform exceptionally poorly.
Your grades do impact the campus placement. Most of the finance and consultant companies will be out of bound if you do not maintain a certain CGPA. So, your choice is limited to the startups, media companies, tier 2 marketing, or companies that hire for character.
Once you start working, if you are willing to hustle and can communicate well, then you will be able to recover lost ground easily. And who knows, the startup that no one wanted to associate with might become the next big thing in the industry.
So, there is no generic rule here. As some of the students, who are in the bottom 20% do bad, some do average, and some make it big. In contrast to the top 20%, where most of the students do well, and a small minority of students do bad.
Overall, it depends upon you how you perform in the real world as some top students also do struggle whereas some of the bottom students shine.
When considering pursuing an MBA from top-ranked institutions like IIM Ahmedabad, it's important to keep in mind that not everyone who attends will be satisfied with the outcome. While a degree from a prestigious institution can provide financial rewards and recognition, it's important to consider personal goals and priorities before committing to a rigorous curriculum. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Pursuing an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad or any top-ranked institution can provide financial rewards and recognition, but it's important to consider personal goals, direction, satisfaction, individuality, and work-life balance before committing to a rigorous curriculum. Whether you should choose EEE at NIT Trichy or ECE at NIT Warangal or IT at NIT Surathkal or CSE at MNNIT, depends solely on your preferences and future prospects. Never opt for a branch blindly just because you are getting a good institute with your rank. The primary step is to get an idea of the field you are willing to pursue a career. Choosing the right branch is very important as it plays a major role in shaping your career. Also, don’t choose a certain branch on the pretext of upgrading your ranch later because the chances are very low.
While making this decision, there are 2 kinds of people, one who prefers college over the branch and the other who prefers branch over college. If you belong to the first category, your preference order should be
But if you belong to the second category, your preference order should be

NIT Silchar is a prestigious engineering college that imparts quality education in various fields. However, the PG courses aren't very well-known and only the UG courses have gained fame over time. It is therefore advisable to check the profiles of the teachers in the respective department.
Additionally, NIT Silchar is located in a remote location and you might find it difficult to procure your equipment for projects. MTech depends on the quality of the research and project you have completed and if you fail to accomplish it your MTech degree is invaluable.
Most companies visiting NIT Silchar prefer BTech students to MTech students. So getting a good job let alone a core job is very difficult here. The institute has no international ties so your future prospects may narrow down further.
Consider all the above factors before making your final decision!
Both JNTUH and JNTU Kakinda are reputed. Both have their advantages. But if we compare the two based on infrastructural facilities, faculty, and campus placement then JNTUH is a bit better than JNTUK. However, the environment is better than that of JNTUH. Here is a brief comparison of both the institutes.
| Parameters | JNTUH | JNTUK |
| Average CTC | 9.5 LPA | 2.5 LPA |
| Highest CTC | 17 LPA | 4 LPA |
| Major recruiters | Amazon, TCS, Mathworks, etc. | Infosys, DXC Technologies, Cognizant, etc. |
JNTUH will also offer better opportunities if you are considering pursuing studies abroad. But if you want a job after graduation, then either of these two institutes offers decent opportunities.

SIMSREE is ranked differently on various websites. You do not have to follow these rankings. Both institutions are equally good.
One of my friends is studying at SIMSREE and said its MMS program is better than Somaiya. For PG, Somaiya is better because of its diversity.
Therefore, college rankings are not always correct. SIMSREE is still better than most of the Management institutes that provide quality education to students.
