My friend was in a similar dilemma and ended up giving up Thapar University because his parents were disappointed he did not make it to IITs. He applied everywhere else and went for IPU MAIT instead. His best friend applied to Thapar and got selected in Mechanical.
Recently, his friend told him about the placement scenario there and how excellent the CSE placements were. He headlined that he would have been able to get a huge package of 15 LPA had he gone to Thapar University. The situation at MAIT was not very good and it was difficult even to get a package around 10 LPA.
He regrets giving up Thapar for MAIT, so don't repeat his mistake and go for Thapar without any second thoughts!

Amity University Noida has its own agriculture institute named Amity Institute of Organic Agriculture. The institute has under graduation and post-graduation in agriculture. BSc Agriculture is the under graduation course. One should consider the following factors to decide whether this course is best or not.
Placement: The placement activities are pretty good and the highest salary package offered is 3 Lakhs per annum. The average salary package offered ranges from Rs 25, 000 to Rs 26, 000 per month. The percentage of students who get placed is above the average of 70%. The jobs were offered in agriculture companies and food processing companies. Top recruiters were Coromandel, Pepsico, Parle agro, Aqua Agri, Vansun, BKC Weather, etc. The institute also guarantees a 100 % internship and it also provides student exchange programs. The student exchange program benefits the student to go to foreign universities for internships.
Scope: The job opportunities are available in both the public sector as well as the private sector. The job opportunities are obtainable in Agriculture Research Assistant, Extension officer, Agriculture officer, Plantation Manager, Production Manager, Agri Preneurship, Farm manager, Food Processing units in Government, Field Officer, etc. After BSc, one could also pursue MSc program and further Ph.D. program as well and become a lecturer or research assistant.
Course structure: The course duration is 4 years i.e. eight semesters. The course is broad which includes both theoretical and practical parts. The course enhances the learning of scientific and economic crop production. Even though the course is not recognized by ICAR, the syllabus is based on ICAR. The first six semesters cover almost all topics in agriculture such as Agronomy, Agribusiness management, Plant pathology, Genetics, Animal rearing, Rural economy, etc. The final two semesters are more practical in nature which include Outside activity-based courses and the study of agriculture at the field level. The course curriculum also has a mandatory summer internship which enables the student to know about the job prospects and scope.
Faculty: The faculties are well experienced in the field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:17. Thus, it promotes attention to individual students to excel in their performance.
Infrastructure: The institute fulfills the basic necessities required for the course which include Wi-fi availability, well-equipped laboratory, organic farm, and a good library.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has a better placement record for CSE, among these. Almost 100% of students from CSE, get placed with good salary packages. If you had specified the parameters on which you are judging the institute, it would have been easier to answer the question. In terms of quality of education, the two IIITs are better than the three NITs.
Given below is a brief comparison of the institutes based on various parameters. You can make your decision based on that.
Faculty:(IIIT Delhi > Top NITs ~ IIIT Allahabad)
IIIT Delhi has the best faculty. Even top NITs don’t come close to IIIT Delhi in terms of faculty.
Campus Life: (Top 3 NITs > IIIT Allahabad > IIIT Delhi)
The top 3 NITs offer better campus life. As compared to NITs the workload of IIIT Delhi is too much. IIIT Delhi also does not have as many clubs and societies as top NITs. NIT campuses are also bigger in comparison.
Hostels: (Winning Institute - IIIT Delhi)
Placements: (IIIT Delhi ~ Top NITs ~ IIIT Allahabad)
In terms of placements, IIIT Delhi matches the placement statistics of top NITs. A student of IIIT Delhi has recently secured a placement package of 1.45 Crore. The average package of the institute mentioned in the question is around 15-17 lakhs (for CSE).
Location: (IIIT Delhi > Top 3 NITs ~ IIIT Allahabad)
But whether you will like the campus or not depends on your background. If you are from South India, life in Delhi or Prayagraj may not be that appealing and vice versa.
Reputation & Alumni Base: (Top 3 NITs > IIIT Delhi > IIIT Allahabad)
If you are genuinely interested in coding, you should choose IIIT Delhi or IIIT Allahabad. Otherwise don’t go for IIITs.
If NIT Trichy is your only option, then you can go for it. But for Civil Engineering infrastructure can be a vital factor.
The budget that usually is allocated for infrastructure incorporates buying lands from peasants to fund the research later on with a low-cost housing or environmental impact assessment.
If you have chosen Civil Engineering, based on your electives, you could opt to specialize in Hydraulics engineering, Structural engineering, Environmental engineering, Building materials, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructural engineering, and other relevant disciplines.
It is best to get familiar with the topics briefly noted above. Based on your knowledge and expertise, choose one (or more, if required) of the many specializations and then do a brief research on the basic amenities, like faculty strength and similar aspects of NIT Trichy.
However, in terms of academics, NIT Trichy is an excellent choice.
Summer internships are part of the curriculum at XIMB and are graded with a certain number of credits. So, it is necessary for every student to do a summer internship compulsorily. Thus it is made sure by the institute itself that every student gets an internship for the summers. So, it is entirely false that XIMB does not have 100% summer internship placements. Some students do find better offers than given in the campus placements and thus they opt out of the process. Otherwise, placements are handled by the institute itself.
Also, do not think of summer internships as final placements. You may not get an internship at a reputed company, but you will get an internship for sure. Final placements are a whole different game than summer placements. There have been instances where students who have done internships at smaller companies have landed top jobs during final placements. So, it actually matters less which company you did an internship for, rather grades, business acumen is more important for final placements. You should focus on studies, participating in business school competitions to hone your skills and you will definitely do well in your placements.
Some of my friends studying at IIM Indore mentioned that yes, IPM has a foreign student exchange program. The students usually go in their 3rd or 5th year. They get to study one whole trimester (3 months). They will get an opportunity to study in the universities IIM Indore has collaborated with.
Some of the Universities IIM Indore has collaborated with includes the following:
The student exchange program is really important as it will provide both international exposure and perspective. This program gives an enriching academic experience.
One of my friends from school attends Thapar University. Here is his insight regarding the class timing at the institute.
Try to enjoy the first semester as it is one of the least credit semesters. Manage your time properly. You will be given a week off before Mid Terms and the end semester to study.
Do attend labs as they are easy and you will get free attendance. Try to maintain a good relationship with TAs. If they are on your side, you are most likely to score well.
