How are the placements at Delhi University?

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The management is approachable and responsive to student concerns and suggestions. Internship opportunities help students gain professional experience before graduation. The college emphasizes discipline, punctuality, and professional ethics. Clubs and student organizations help improve leadership and organizational skills. Continuous assessment and feedback help students improve academic performance. The institution creates a motivating atmosphere that inspires students to achieve their goals.

Students become eligible for the placement from the 6th semester or third year of their graduation. There is a placement cell in college which gives oportunities to every eligible student for the placement.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills.Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first,earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.
