Our college is improving at a high rate. Facilities are improving. NAAC had given us A+ ranking which is remarkable for any private university. Our university had achieved it in 7 years, that's the big achievement. Also academics are improving and research work is also improving.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good. In my B.Sc course I studied basic subjects relevent to my course and also chemistry as additional subject in every semester. In 3rd semester we were studying research subjects such as Essential Research Methodologies and Intellectual Property rights and also project in last year.
Placement Experience
Our university was founded in 2012 From that time till now it maintains good placement records. Companies visit campus every year. I am not sure about internship pattern but I can assure you about placements kindly visit Chandigarh University website for further details.
College Events
We here in Chandigarh University we celebrate fresher's party every year, AAGHAZ is another event celebrated every year. Regular visits by celebrities and also concerts were there. Also many other events are here on regular basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is not that expensive as compared to other private universities. For my course I paid Rs. 35000 every semester as academic fee so fees is not that expensive. University also provide wavier on the basis of various factors such as entrance exam and on merit basis every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our university provides various scholarship on the basis of merit and entrance exam results. Loan facility is provided here. Various banks tied up with Chandigarh university to provide such loan facility. Loan can be easily sanctioned. State bank of India and Punjab national Bank provides education loan.
Campus Life
Lab facilities have improved in passed years. As a biotechnology student our most of the work is done in labs and there is impressive improvement done in few past years. Sports department is also very good in our university. Many sports events are conducted every year. Extracurricular activities like singing, acting and dancing have weigtage for students profile.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful every time when needed. No ragging is here in our university. Also seniors are very supportive either in studies or in lab work. They are genuinely helpful. Alumni network here is good. We got exposure to it from time to time.
Admission
First I registered myself for pursuing B.Sc in biotechnology. So for registration I submitted 10 marks sheet, 12 mark sheet, Aadhar card copy and some school documents. After registration I visited campus after 1 month and there is submitted fees and completed admission procedure.
Faculty
Faculty is good but some new recruits are very young and not that much experienced in teaching. But teaching is very good. Teachers have good behaviour and they are very supportive. In Chandigarh University we maintain good teacher student relationship. Most of the faculties are experienced.
