Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was as per the university norms. The university is focussed on imparting students with a curriculum which is a blend of both classroom learning and practical exposure to the industry tools. We had many field visits, which was accountable for our enhanced industry knowledge.

Placement Experience

Industry Institute partnership cell (IIPC) was established in order to establish and enhance the relationship between the institute and the corporates. IIPC is mainly liable to organize lectures, interactive workshops, conferences, seminars, brainstorming sessions, technical discussions, consultancy Sessions, training, orientation courses, meetings, visits, etc.

College Events

ECE Association releases an annual magazine covering all the important activities happening throughout the year. Graduation day was another event that was celebrated by the entire college. Apart from that, there were some department-specific events as well, which were celebrated in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty comprehensive for the UG program. It is around 80K per annum, to be paid annually. The course fee is pretty much at par with other colleges affiliated to Kannur University.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides the e-grant option to needy students. Special fee concession and scholarship options are available for female students. Special scholarships are awarded to meritorious students.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. The campus is ragging free. We even have a women empowerment cell, which works towards the betterment of a woman's life and providing a safe environment. The library is pretty great and has over 10k books, journals, and e-book subscriptions for student’s reference and research purposes.

Admission

The admission to the B.Arch course is on the basis of the NATA exam scores. The college conducts a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Out of the total number of seats, half of the seats are filled by CAP, while the rest of the seats are filled under management quota.

life in a campus

Likes

having a best campus life there, high-quality programs are providing
high-quality education, and giving more opportunities to develop our skills
full green campus giving peacefull evinornment

Dislikes

faculties make semester more difficult by giving projects that they dont even have an idea about
some of the faculties have some passuality
strong management and all, but sometimes they are not approachable

we needed to attend a internship program of 100 days in semester 7,thats actually helps to have a real life experience and also get a training before we graduate .also now in semester 9 we need to attend a spetial caurse ,that we can choose based on our intrest , which helps to develop our skills and will have a estra cerfication also.

The teaching method are student friendly .Easier to understand

Number of students in one class is 40.There is only ome batch
canteen facility is needs to be improved
College maintains a healthy environment but infrastructure is average

In first year it is more practical works as basic design includes modeling, paper works, sketching etc...helps to development conceptual, understanding skills. From 4th semester onwards digital works starts. For that provide a class period of cad,revit softwares etc

Admission:

The admission process of the college was help on the basis of test in which I appeared. The tests were KEAM and NATA. Online forms come every year through which a student got the chance to take admission in such a reputed college.

Entrance preview

Admission:

Selection to B.Arch programme is based purely on merit. Selection will be done by SSA giving due weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and the NATA score. Merit is the only criterion for selection.

Remarks:

The College and College hostel won't let them use phones. Even though phones are allowed in hostels as per government rule. The College is a little strict and still treats us like school students. But the College is free in some terms but controlled a lot.

Remarks:

My college is not so good to live a life in college. It is okay just for study and not for any extra curricular activities so i dont actually prefer my college for a creative student who wants to explore.

There is no negative remarks about my college becuase this is a college where we get this much freedom but not for unwanted activities abd for that our college follows strict rules. This is a heaven for me.

Admission process is through nata or jee entrance exam. Cut off marks for nata is 70. I scored 87 in nata. For merit seat, admission process is through keam registration. Better you choose

For B. Arch admission process is through Nata or jee exams. I got my admission through nata exam. I scored 102 marks vut off was 70. Through registration of keam i got merit seat in my college. Keam process is adding your 12th pass mark with your nata score. Eligibility of course is plus two should be science stream and should qualify nata or jee exams. We can find application forms of nata in their site and application fees are almost 1500 indian rupees. Exam is 3 hour and it includes physics, drawing, iq based questions it was a computerized exam. Positive remarks about college is they have good faculities and transportation facility is too good. The college management are very helpful if we are facing any problems in the campus.
