Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course of Engineering as per my opinion needs a lot of improvement. Students end up spending most of their time completing assignments and practical files. The syllabus is outdated and no enthusiasm exists in the students to learn something out of the box.

College Events

Tech fest, Fun fair, Traditional day, Suits day, Farewell, Games and sports, etc. Every department conducts an event every semester which includes various competitions and prizes. Events like Mystery hunt also take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, about 1.1L per year. The bus facility for students cost about 30k per year and as the college is far, students have to spend a bit more money to reach the college. Hostel rates are too high as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't got any scholarships from the college.Expensive, about 1.1L per year. The bus facility for students cost about 30k per year and as the college is far, students have to spend a bit more money to reach the college. Hostel rates are too high as well.

Campus Life

3.5

There are all the required labs and workshop in the college campus all well equipped with apparatus required for the curriculum. The sports department is well equipped with all facilities including a VR Game Zone and campus teams for volleyball and football.

Alumni/Alumna

Admission

Admission procedure is just like any other college in Pune. CAP rounds. Based on merit lists, we are alloted in the college. Then we submit all necessary documents to the administration department including the forms of admission process and confirm our admission in the college.

Faculty

As per my opinion, the faculty is quite good and friendly towards the students. Any help we require is fulfilled by the faculty. They leave no doubts unsolved. Well qualified teachers and good knowledge of their respective subjects.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
