Positive remark is our college have good campus placemet. Many proffesor are good & humble. They help full for future cerrier guidence. But practicle knowledge for students is low. Some lab equipment not proper work.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am mechanical engineering under Gujarat technical university.& Practicle knowlege is less due to high figh courese of syllabus.Exam conducted sem by sem.Gtu gives grade according to our marks.FF grade is fail.& AA grade is higher in all off.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities is as good as.Job is depending upon students skills like Comunication, they behaviour , Observation, Logic & Quont. placement of our college is good. 367 student placed out of 600.There is no internship provided by our college. Students have own responsibility to get good internship in good company.

College Events

4.5

There are lots of events celebrated in our college. Different types of club provided opprtunity to handel a event as co-ordinator.Different club are as below. 1)Asme-american society of mechanical engineering. 2)Rotaract club of gcet. 3)ISTE- indian society for technical education etc. The Name of over college megga techfest is IMaZE. Imaze gives all students to take oportunity & make some different.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, per annum 1,19,000/- is very high so, all students can't take admission in private college.middle class family have more difficult to take admision in GCet college. According to high fees ,College not provided sufficient facility for student. Our college canteen is okward.

Fees and Financial Aid

MUSY- mukhayamanty yuva svavalamban yojna. MYSY is provided by central gov. It's helpfull for middle class family student more than 85 PR in 12th are eligible fir MYSY scholership. MYSY offer by central gov. & it's helpfull for student.

Campus Life

3.5

I am interesting in practicle work. I joint extra CAMPUS classes. I am volunteer in BACHHPAN NGO. Who works for teaching slum areas poor students without taking any cost. It's starts in 2011 & now a day there are 180+ volunteer and 700+ students taking under this NGO. I am also interesting in Sports. Cricket is my fav game. I am an all-rounder both Bating & Bowling I know very well.

Alumni/Alumna

GCET allumni asociation help for gives books under Povery student. Whose parents income is less than 6 lakh. They are eligible for this Sahay. Senior are also help full in each & every moment. They help full for study as well as facultt guidence.

Admission

First we enter in mock round college filling.& through ACPC rank i got admission in G.H. patel college of engineering technology.I got 7936 acpc rank.so i know that GCET is good college than other.& also it's gives facility for better lecture & lab facility. also it's have good environmental campus backgroung.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is good & high qualify. They create an interesting environment during lecture time.so all students gives fully concentration on lecture other than out. Some proffesor is good in teaching & some are bad because of their boring Lectural skill. They do not provide better environmnet & some proffesos are bad habit to teach us.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Overview of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to go for Mechatronics engineering and not many colleges in Gujarat provided that course during my admission time. The other option was Parul University which I did not want to go to because of the negative academic reviews of the said university. G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology however, had a good reputation based on their academic and hi-tech practicality which made me surely want to choose this college for my education. The admission process was very easy as I went through the final round of the admission process of ACPC. I was immediately accepted and the paper work and the formalities were carried out by the administration department very smoothly. There were no said external entrance exams for the said course and the result for the 12th board was the only thing that was required. The orientation and campus tour was also provided on the day of admission itself which made it easier for me to understand the layout of the campus and also meeting the few faculty members was very insightful on the first day itself....Read More
