Remarks
College is good in its own way. Infrastructure is good, teaching plans and examination are good. Only drawback is its location as it's on the outskirts of ghaziabad and not so well transportation facilities are available.
Entrance Preview
UPTU entrance exams. I opted it because of the rankings, it's always among top 3 in uttar pradesh technical university. Also placements is very satisfactory keeping in mind IT and CS students. Overall college goes along with its number 1 ranking in UPTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cariculum is satisfactory, I won't say great because the practicals are a bit lesser and should be increased to give real time experience. Faculty is very good most of the teachers are MTECH, like Mr Anil Giri, a young and talented faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Cognizant, TCS, Microsoft and bsnl came. Stipend offered was around 8k . I did the internship in bsnl although and there was no Stipend offered as it was an government undertaking. My friend did from cognizant and he received 8k Stipend. Internship is not that strong as compared to placements in this college. Student has to manage on its own basically.
Placement Experience
Companies like TCS, Optimus, Bajaj finserv, HCL, syntel, landcraft came. General package offered is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.
College Events
Sports fest for the sports lovers, cultural fest including a celebrity night. Then various community events in inter college level like writing competition, also NHS outings are a regular schedule.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is neither too high nor too low as per a pvt institution. It's around 86k annually for btech. For some of the other institutions it's more than 1 lakh annually. Plus since the college is of krishna group they offer some scholarships program for 12th class toppers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship for students whose parents have an annual income less than 1 lakh is provided by UP government. College gives scholarships to students who get ranks in top 10 in university exams.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is like 7 girls per 12 boys approx. Depending on various courses not much girls are in civil engineering courses. It's an anti ragging institution with zero tolerance in sex, race, religion discrimination. No college elections are held. Economically college is strong, robotics and other workshops are run throughout year and teams are send to competitions on college expenses.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are very good and spacious specially for 3rd year onwards. Mess facilities are a bit low. Food menu isn't very satisfactory.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni students visit and provide opportunities whenever possible. It's quite helpful. As aluminis are in various MNC as well as abroad and they provide refferal increasing the chances of recruitment.
Exam Structure
Exams structure is quite relaxed. Three internal exams occur in which you have to appear for any two. Also if you want to improve marks you can give all three as the best two marks are taken in account.
