Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Speaking of course curriculum, as it is affiliated to NEHU, it follows the curriculum of the university. When comparing the course curriculum with DU, we have lesser syllabus covering lesser topic meaning the curriculum is not as detailed as DU. The curriculum is not heavy to learn.

Internships Opportunities

As far as i know they don't provide internship. So there is nothing i can share about on this subject. It would indeed be great if they offer internship. This will not only help student but also to the college.

Placement Experience

3.5

As i haven't graduate i don't personal experience about this. But as a student from this college i have seen their is job placement from certain companies. There days fixed for job placement. Many students have got jibs right after graduation by this.

College Events

4

List: We have culture day, literature competition, college weeks mainly consisting of sports and games. Orientation, freshers' day and farewell is also taken up. There are others events too. We take this event seriously and are very competitive as well. This foster a strong relationship not only to department but also as whole. Events are grandly celebrated as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible. They are not expensive. The total cost of one semester by average is approximately around 9000 rupees. They don't charge surplus fees. It is very transparent. Fees are increased every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan available to students. Scholarship distributed by the the government is available. Those with merit list in exam and extracurricular activities are rewarded cash prize with certificate.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities, sports etc. as mentioned above they are very competitive. We take this seriously as this is part od f education. With 2 weeks we take up sports in the stadium or local ground. Lab is good too. We have what we need everything. All equipment and specimens are available in plenty and new.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't stay in hostel but as my friend stays i have been there. Infrastructure and facilities are quite awesome. Water & electric are available 24/7. Wifi is available too. Located just opposite to college premise the environment is very breezy.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network aren't that helpful as far as my concern. There were meetings and activities initiated by them but it is not up to expectation. We have little knowledge of them as well. Would be great if they take up better steps because i believe they are very neccessary.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is now semester system. Here we have two semester in a year making under graduate 6 semester all together. CGPA is also taken into consideration. We have internal exam as well. And thus the total mark for exam conducted by university is 56 the rest is internal and practical marks.

Admission

We had entrace exam conducted by the concerned department. The questions were objective. If i remember correctly, 50 question qas asked ranging from biology, current affairs and aptitude. Results is declared on merit basis.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty member of my college is friendly. Though different departmentsm we have sense of oness this ia all their effort. But let me speak specifically of my department. All are doctorate. They are very good in their concern sub where they teach us in very compelling ways. They even took initiative to have a mini library for my department so we could get more information and get to read books that are academically important yet costly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Well, it is a great experience at my college. People are quite open-minded and positive always giving help to those in need. The teachers are quite friendly and always helpful. The college facilities like the library and study materials are quite fine. The college campus is also big enough to feel free to walk around. In short about my college it is one of the best.

Remarks:

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy is of no use. The fees are feasible even for common people and faculties are well trained. It got all what it needs to be a good college and yes it is. I would recomment it to everyone.
