Remarks

I wish they had university too. And I wish the canteen was a bit bigger.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's the best, I wasn't disappointed at all. The facilities and time management and time table, the list of really long. Very caring and passionate. Yes I do agree it's not 100 percent best, but it's more than enough to build a student's academic and future career.

Internships Opportunities

I don't think they provide internship, I'm sorry I really don't know about it, maybe they do. They may provide but I'm not very sure of that. Since I graduated in the year 2016, so it's been two years already so they may have changed something.

Placement Experience

2.5

I never came across placement and job opportunities. I'm sorry after I finished my graduation I had to leave because they have only college and no University. But according to what I have heard they may also. Because my seniors were saying they did get placement.

College Events

5

Teacher's day, children's day, jubilee, all souls day, republic day, independence day, fresher's day, college month, college week. cultural day is the best when all tribes and varied cultures come together and we all dress up in our own cultural attires. Northeast India being full of varied cultures it's awesome. I also love college week, because we have to dress accordingly to the dress code for that week. It's fun because students get to take a breather from all the school work and hectic schedule. And college month is where we conduct all the sport activities, it's both physically tiring but keeps our physical stability strong. And all other national events are celebrated with as much dedication.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very reasonable, and for the facilities we receive it's commendable. And due to installment basis of fees, students from poor background need not worry and pay few at a time. Very cheap as compared to city and private colleges but equally equipped with all latest facilities and adequate enough to handle a mass of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we get scholarship for each year, we get more than ten thousand per year because we were science student, but arts and commerce are not much different either. Scholarship are a great way to pay up some student dream and buy some college necessities.

Campus Life

Everyone is treated equally, no bias nature or partiality takes place.

Hostel Facilities

5

Clean and hygienic and very delicious. It's appropriate and nonrepetitive and made we care. I specially love the chowmein and Chinese food we especially get on weekends and the canteen is so good with warm and varied foods, we even get jadoh it's a local delicacy and it's a must try and the prices and rates are pocket friendly for Student's.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very generous with their time and experience and thus helps us a lot cope up the sudden life changes of starting a college life. They lend us their old books and helps us understand the norms.

Exam Structure

It's perfect, it's adequate and fair. I haven't heard a single student getting caught cheating or some leaked question papers of any of such kind. The teachers are very keen and attentive during exams so no one dares to do any illegal cheating activities during exam or test or any kind. It's very fair and adequate and the checking if answer sheet is equally very fair.

Admission

I have entrance exam, but my percentage was also good from my 12th boards. And after I got through entrance, my name was on the list, and then I waited for a month for classes to start and I accommodated a hostel and settled in there and started my college when it started and it was a great experience. Can't be more thankful than that. So so happy I chose Mary's.

Faculty

Very caring and passionate. Yes I do agree it's not 100 percent best, but its more then enough to built a student academic and future career. It's the best and I have no complaints. I got a chance to be a part of such a prestigious çollege, long live saint Mary's college and I can't wait to visit it again .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Well, it is a great experience at my college. People are quite open-minded and positive always giving help to those in need. The teachers are quite friendly and always helpful. The college facilities like the library and study materials are quite fine. The college campus is also big enough to feel free to walk around. In short about my college it is one of the best.

Remarks:

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy is of no use. The fees are feasible even for common people and faculties are well trained. It got all what it needs to be a good college and yes it is. I would recomment it to everyone.
