Basic about Chandigarh university

Everything was good except the lift. We have to walk by stairs on the 6th or 7th or 8th floor both for hostel and education block.but i think it's not the major problem. Overall its very good and maintains healthy environment

Course curriculum was systematically segregated amongst 6 semesters each semester contains 5,6 subjects. Also there was a compulsory subject of specialization. There were around 5-6 subjects of specialization and mine was E-commerce.

Yes college provides internship but not for my course. We have to search internship by our own and have to make a project report on the work done and accordingly, viva will be conducted for the same.

The scope of placements are very good. Many companies arrived for my course though i didn't want to get a job after graduation but my friends got placed and earning a good salary package. Opportunities are in huge number.

There were many events held every year and attending all of them refreshes mind 1. Freshers 2. Cab meeting 3. Independence day 4. Tech invent 5. Holi 6. DJ nights around 7-8 7. Department wise events 8. In hostel eventa 9. various competitions 10. Sports meet etc etc.

The fees structure is not at all feasible. Its very expensive in addition to extra charges of uniform, examination, freshers party etc etc. And also expense of hostel , payment is made in installments and tuition fee was paid semester wise.

Yes my college provides scholarship on merit basis, and loan facility to those who cannot afford to pay.I accidentally forgot to avail my scholarship offer and also no one tells me about that at that time.If i availed , it would be like 10%-15% less on my tuition fee.

There were n number of Extracurricular activities to do. Also, labs are also good i had my soft skills lab and communication lab. sports facility was also feasible , we can play anytime by issuing the equipments from sports room.

Hostel infrastructure was also good , wardens were also friendly though strict, rooms and washrooms were cleaned on daily basis, have excellent internet facility., food was okyish . Have a stationary and eatables shop too.

Network of the chandigarh university was also good , we can operate it anytime by loggin in and also we can have updates of what will be happening tomorrow..Senior students are also very helpful.The campus is ragging free.

For every 6 semester:- In 1st month I did learning In 2nd month by mid I have my MSTs of 36 marks In 3rd month also MSTs of 36 marks and after 1 month there were final exams of 60 marks for external.

I went there in the admission cell , showed all the necessary documents, received prospectus, filled admission form and other forms too, get a picture clicked for the ID card, paid fees and yes admission done!

Faculty of the colleges was very cooperative, intelligent , helps students in every aspect, provide practical and logical knowledge. They make us learn how to manage things and how to create a balance between studies and extra curricular activities.
