Remarks

The college is good in terms of studies but the lab and libraries are not up to the mark. The college also has scope of improvements in the field of internships and placement. Overall the college is a good place to study in.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well defined and similar to other colleges in Bengal. The course consists of research oriented subjects as well , and focuses on application. The college provides facilities of lab and library etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is expensive as compared to other colleges offering the same B.Ed course. The application fee is 600 INR and the annual fee is 50,000 INR making it 1,00,000 INR for the full two year B.Ed course.

Campus Life

The colleges has a good set of extracurricular activities including labs and playing ground. The colleges also offers good facilities in terms of studies like a library and practice teaching schools.

Admission

The admission of the candidates is on merit basis as per W.B.U.T.T.E.P.A. norms. The candidate need to clear the West Bengal B.Ed entrance exam and then is admitted in college on the basis of merit list.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is well qualified and helpful. Some of the teachers are strict however every teacher is really committed to help the students. There are total 16 well qualified teachers under the B.Ed section.

Good location

Admission:

I choose this college for pursuing the B.Ed course after I completed my graduation. I passed out my graduation in Education honors with a total score of 67% of marks and without appearing for any entrance exam my admission was conducted.

The college provides an extensive infrastructure with well versed faculty members. It helps in training the students to their best capacity and help them to be a successful teachers. There is a variety of options available for books in the library to gain extra knowledge apart from our subjects taught. Overall it is a good option to get a B.ed degree.

Best College to Pursue B.Ed

Remarks:

One amazing thing about WBUTTEPA is our Research Infrastructure, a number of research centers have been made on the campus. Research is conducted on a number of subjects pertaining to different fields of study. Students and teachers both actively participate in the research work.

Experience of college life

Remarks:

A mixture of mostly bad but few very good experiences. I had got a chance to perform in IPL OPENING CEREMONY 2013. I had to give audition for this. I even got chance to learn Spanish language in college. Apart from these courses many other innovative and renown vocational courses are provided by BESC.

Entrance Preview:

I passed my B.Ed degree with 2nd division. I had completed my M.A. I had a special paper named Pre Primary Education I had compulsory papers i.e History and Bengali. My optional subject was English. It was 3 yrs course to complete the honours degree. I completed my 12th class from this college with second division.

Before I'm taking admitted on this college first search internet and reading newspaper about many colleges but at last finally I have decided to admitted hope institute of Bengal. It has various criteria for admission such as obc quota. For admission need at least 50%marks in graduated but obc quota, less than 45% and ages limit 40 years. On admission day I have gone early to the college and my counseling starts at 10:45.
