Remarks

Everything thing is good here... The only issue which i have is it needs to compete with other colleges as well .. this college is busy in its own world ..

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exams are divided into two parts mid sem and final for each semester. Courses usually got completed before time.. but most importantly we have to study by our self only the college will help only 10% and we have to make our efforts 90% to score well in the exam..

Placement Experience

3.5

Different courses provide different placement... there are lot of companies and NGO visiting here like Wipro , TCS , and many more.

College Events

3.5

There are various types of event organised by our college. As every department organize different type of event.. quizzes, dance competition, debate, singing competition, rallies, NCC student prepare themselves for different events.. essay competition, slogan writing competition, drawing competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If i will say about my course which i am doing now about 1st year i had spend 50000 as vocational courses charges this much.. but if i will say about other courses is cost little less .. for other graduation courses it takes 10000 per year or may be less.

Fees and Financial Aid

If i get any scholarships i will be very happy and i will use it to pay my collefe fee cause it will be a very good help for me.

Campus Life

3.5

Almost all are good if you want to eat delicious food you can eat there.. though the campus is big you can visit any where if you have time. There food and lodging facilities near the college .. market is also nearby . . Most no. Of girls are present at high ratio. Almost 20000 girls are there or may be more..

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah senior are good enough though it's depend on us that how we are behaving with them. If we are good they will also behv good with us

Admission

I got admission in this college through my result. If you had score more than 50% in your previous class.. then one can easily get admission in the college . You can fill admission form easily through online in the official website of the Jamshedpur women's college.

Faculty

All the faculty are good and having a helping Nature who are always ready to help the students.. different streams have different faculty as all are good but there is no proper routine for the classes. It's digital generation so all the type of information is available in the official website of women's college.

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

Likes

A big campus and an ever resonating campus life
Excellent and helpful faculty members with deep knowledge in their subjects
High quality computer labs along with a supercomputer

Dislikes

Hostel food service, quality and hygiene
Slow and stammering WIFI connection which also gets lost sometimes
A little unhygienic and sometimes not well cleaned washrooms

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Likes

Exams are conducted in proper manner no unfair means. And paper is completely related to the syllabus
Syllabus is designed very good. It's a B.Tech level syllabus in BCA so its good that we are very much advanced as compared to other college and university.
Timely semester ends. 6 months syllabus is completed in 4.5 months so its a good point that you are on time.

Dislikes

Campus is very limited. Only college building that too with 15 classroom and only a parking space in the name of campus.
There is no extra co-curricular activities in our campus. Only attend classes from 9 to 5 and go back home that the college life which you get here in bit lalpur.
There is no coed. The biggest disadvantage which I felt. The college life is really boring for us. There is nothing to entertain us. No fun, I feel like a trap being in this campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

The college provides various courses on UG or PG level like arts humanities, Sciences, Commerce Computer Applications Business Applications.

Dislikes

The Placement records are not good enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Likes

Campus is nice, good in hygiene terms. A lot of plants and trees are plated in the campus garden. Classes are very nice and air conditioned.
Response of teachers are very nice. They really work hard for the students. They assists us in all fields.
College security and safety guards are very effective.

Dislikes

College is very far from main road. And the college surrounding is not good.
There are useless rules are ment for the students.
Fines are very high and there is no exemption in fine.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.
