Remarks

The college has good environment for study. And it is at hilli area so that there is circulation of fresh air. The bus service is very low. So that the person who come here in auto or self college bus is available for parent hospital

Course Curriculum Overview

It is an professional course so that it has many different curriculum form arts courses.It is had to study, need a wise method of studying. Examination is good. Need 50%mark to pass the exam. Many of students fail on 49.

Placement Experience

Yet now there no placement program are available. Intership is in shanthi hospital ommessery. The hospital has a good infrastructure and good quality and policy for treatment so a beginner will get more experienced form here.

College has record in art fest from the university.In KUHS our college has participate in all programmes. Because of the faculties they gave a big support for this. The college also participate in the sports.

Total fee 360000 and uniform and other expenses is extra these money only for the. Fee is paid in the instalment base or can pay in one payment. college will give 3 term to complete the yearly fee. And fee for one year is 80500

Loan are available for all students. The paper will provide by the college and we want pass the loan. It is very difficult to get loan from many bank. To education purposes. Loans are available for merit base students. It is also difficult to get. Every student

The former students of the college is well settled. And the male are in Mumbai and also in Europe. The alumni are helpful and one them is our lecturer. They made the college famous in our area. They made good result no one made any supply

Admission

On June there is an allotment for management seats. Just apply for it and wait for government allotment next allot for lbs, on August the list will come,on September the admissions will start and closing on October. There are about 5 seats for NRI.

Good faculty are provided by the management of the college. Many of the members of the management members are in the faculty so that they better to students. Good and big library is available About 4000 books are here

Likes

our management always focus on students welfare
Good facilities in hospital setting and good supervision
Extracurricular activities likecultural fest sports day ,flash mobs etc

Dislikes

There is more girls than boys in my class
No enough class rooms at present but they are building new building for upcoming batches
Some times its feel like trs were more stressing on students

Dislikes

No stipend is provided on internship is the major drawback
Lack of permanent faculty in several department.

Everything you should know about MIMS college of nursing

Likes

College have a beautiful view and it's looks soo eco-friendly and class rooms have AC/air conditioner and have a regular maintenance of class rooms and college surrounding,
Teaching faculty are nice and they help us clear doubts in every time , 50% of teachers are very friendly
College have a great review in post course interviews and it helps more to get job after the course

Dislikes

50% of college faculty are strict and they are very negative, like they make us mentally depressed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it have a 100% job chance and also it's a medical profession,so it's scope doesn't lose Curriculum is relevant and it's really helpful for our real world applications and as we know it have a more practical approach than theoretical because it's a nursing profession. Course curriculum is very hard like we have a lot of assignments for writing,we get mentally ill after this course, we got no time for mental relaxation I feel like drop the course Teaching methods used in college are ppt presentation and real approaches because it's a nursing profession Theory class we get completed in 2 mouths , the whole syllabus will get completed like a bullet train and the next 3 mouth gonna be practical/clinical study Even in clinics the hardest is assignments, around 450 pages in clinics and 150 pages in theory Overall 600 page assignment is written in one semester Two Internal Exams are conducted within 2 months

The positive remark is we get a good opportunity to have practical section from Government medical college hospital kottayam. We are so blessed to have this opportunity. We will get a vast exposure from every department especially cardiology, neurology, critical care units, plastic surgery, orthopaedic etc.

A candidate must have at least 50% marks in physics chemistry biology and english in their 12th standard.
