Good College and teachers. The college is under Kerala technological university or KTU. The quality of university is not upto par. Infrastructure of the campus is small. Has 4 departments. Every department is under one roof.

Govt model engineering college is one of famous colleges for placements in kerala. They student organization for placement or placement cell works hard day and night to make the companies come to the college for placements. During 3rd year companies come for internship placements. To bag a package of 1LPA to 10LPA packages.

Annual technical event is Excel. Excel is one of the first tech fests in south india. Thers is an annual arts and sporst fest conducted during the month of february or march. In which all the years actively participate and conduct.

For merit seats the fees is almost 40000 rs per year. And for management seat its gets upto 70000rs. There is also a NRI quota for which the fees can become more than one lack. There is also scholarships for OEC catagory students.

There is an E-grands scholarship for OEC students. By registering for that scholarship students don't need to pay any fees, including hostel fees. We need to give the needed documents for registering that scholarship.

The labs are well quipped. And the lab assistants have good experiences. There are many clubs present in the college which help us improve our curricular as well as extra curricular activities. The arts and sports are conducted by the students in a system through which everyone gets an opportunity to showcase their skills.

Hostel is good. With good food and infrastructure. Student body in the hostel increases the quality of living and tries to minimize the fees. There are teachers living in the hostel whom we can approach for any emergency. A security is also present.

The alumni network and the seniors are the main assets of the college. Since it is a small college all the seniors have a good relationship with the juniors thorough various curricular as well as extra curricular activities. This relationship helped the college achieve its good placement records.

Wrote kerala engineering entrance exam. Got 5997 as rank. Had good plus two scores. Applied for the college in allotment. Got a merit seat in OBC category. The registration date will be announced. Went there and gave the required documents.

Good teachers. Finishes the portions on time. Permanent staff and experienced professors. Most of the teachers are friendly to students and all the activities. They will help whoever seeks them. They also help in getting placements.
