I personally do not have any negative comments on my college as those were the best four years of my life. The guidance I got from some of my faculties was awesome. Of course there were times when things seemed to fall apart but in the end it turned out to be perfect.
Course is very lengthy although it is as prescribed by the university. But yes it covers what needs to be covered and is quite apt. Exam structure is also good with how the marking structure is a perfect balance of external and internal scores.
The placements are good but not for every branch. And there's a lot of scope of development and work in that area. For CS and MBA there is almost 100% placement every year. No,the college doesn't provide internship.
There are two sports events udaan and ahvaan which are inter branch and inter college respectively. Then there is ankuran which is fresher's day, annual fest and also farewell. There are also celebration on Independence and republic day. And also several workshops.
It is quite feasible as compared to other colleges in terms of not only tuition fees but also hostel and mess charges. If we see the fees the ROI is quite high. And the quality of education provided is best in the city at that price.
We do get scholarship via the university and almost all of the students can avail it unless the parents are government employees. It covers the entire tuition fees and students of all the branches and year can avail it.
Extracurricular activities are in top with in gym facility, sports stadium, sports ground and seminar hall. Labs are state of the art with all the equipments. The college has a full fledged library and also about 7 computer labs.
Yes I did. The hostel life and environment is really good. We celebrate a lot of events(almost all) in there including fresher's day and farewell. All the events and it's almost like home. There is a whole lot of harmony.
Yes we do have an alumni network on social media and on LinkedIn. The seniors are always helpful and many of them refer their juniors or provide support to them in a lot of ways. In short they are very helpful.
I went to see the college as I heard a lot about it. The admission cell people were very nice and they gave a detailed selection procedure. And as I was qualified based on my jee mains score and 12th percentage I got to choose a stream of my choice.
The faculty is really good and are too class professionals who guide and teach very well. They are always there to clear doubts and help us in whatsoever way they can. They are also highly qualified.
Students are eligible to take part in a college placement drive during their 3rd year in the UG degree. From what I've heard, the placement committee is good, and the companies offering placement are the top companies in India including the top auditing firms like Infosys, HCL, WIPRO, etc.
Students have to complete an internship program in their area of specialization during the 7th semester. All the students after their 6th semester become eligible for campus placements. The placements offered are very good. Companies like Infosys , Wipro, HCL, IBM, Amazon, etc. depending on the course studied. At the end it depends on the capability of the student.
In my 3rd year or can say during the 5th and 6th semester I started appearing in campus placements. Now, the name of the companies visited our college were Naukri.com, TCI, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon, Trade India, Genpact.
Students are eligible from the penultimate semester for placements. Accenture and Wipro were bulk recruiters with 1000+ offers, pay package was 3.5 lakh PA The biggest pay was from a Japanese company, only 2 offers made at 32 lakh PA
I chose MNNIT Allahabad as it is one of the best engineering colleges in north India. Moreover, it has great coding culture and placement statistics. The institute is 60+ years old and thus has a great alumni base, to take guidance from. Plus, it was the first college in India to start a Computer Science and Engineering branch. The admission process takes place through JoSAA after giving Jee Mains exam. I read various blogs on quora for comparing my own college with other IITs and NITs and came to the conclusion that I will choose MNNIT.
Our college is quite well known for campus placements and average as well as highest package is very good. Companies visiting for software development are very good including Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Myntra, Flipkart, Codenation, etc. More than 90% of the students get placed (in software field) every year and the rest opt for higher studies or civil services or entrepreneurship. I want to go for corporate job after getting my B.Tech degree.
Placements are been offered from the 6th semester. Many companies are visiting in college. The whole year companies are coming and offering jobs to students. Average package is about 4 lakhs per annum and the highest is more than 8-10 lakhs. Percentage required is just 60%. After getting the degree I have planned for the job. Ist I will go for govt jobs than private.
