Remarks

The positives are that there are a lot of activities and the college is very active in co curricular activities like sports. The negetive is that, the academics is not practical application based. The college stands by marks more than skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is more towards the theory than toward practical knowledge, but the curriculum has changed for our juniors onwards. Each year is divided into 2 sems. In each sem we will have to write 2 series exams and 1 semester exam. 20 mark from each series exam and 100 from sem exam and 10 marks internals will give a total mark on 150 for each subject.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are lots of placements every year. And there is no internship provided by the college. But our department can provide with a small percent of the whole expenditure for one intership in whole 4 years. This provision is merely effective as many will apply and the fund gets divided and only a meger amount will be returned.

College Events

4.5

Our college celebrates a whole lots of progrms and events. Onr techno culturl fest 'hestia' is the biggest. Spnning for 3 days, the program consist of games, competitions, exhibitions, events, in all domains like technical, cultural, literature and sports. There are other celebrations like onam, freshers day, union Inaugration, department association Inaugration, sports day, department fests, grograms conflducted by clubs etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are management as well as govt. Seats in the college. Govt seats have a fee at around to 10000 per sem.The management seat fee is decided by the college management. The above said 10000rs include the miscellaneous charges also.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the govt. Scholarships are available at the college and only one scholarship os provided by the college itself. It is a merit cum means scholarship provided by the alumni association of the college. But anly very few people gets that scholarship.

Campus Life

4

There are quiet a lot of activities going on olin the college. The college has almost all game teams, and all individual events, and the college most probably comes first in almost all events in the zonal level. Labs are fine, there are adiquate equipments and good fecility.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has a great alumni network. Many placement companies comes through alumni networks. And also a scholarship 'merit cum means'provided by the college is funded by the alumni association. The seniors are very helpful in almost all areas. They only guide is through different aspects on the college life.

Admission

One have to attend and qualify the entrance exam conducted by the state govt, called KEAM. Once qualified, a rank list will be published, and a portel will be ppen online for giving the college and branch preferances. Once that is done, the first allotment happens. And one can check his elligible college and course available.

Faculty

3.5

Not so good. There are a few good and knowledgable professors, but there are also not so good teachers. It also depends on the branch one is opting. As there are different faculties for different brances, the whole impression may be different for other branch students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
