Remarks

Our college is one of the top colleges in India so there are no queries for me particularly about my college.i think for any student who studies here going to place in one of the best companies undoubtedly.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As an individual the course I opted was ECE branch ,I choose it because I had interest in that particular course.I think by choosing this ece in IIT ROORKEE I done a very good decision my interest in this particular course was increased very much so I also recommend it as a choice now.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes ,our college provide internships and annually many students also get hired in those internships and coming to placements every year from our college there will be one of the top package holder in India which is a very good sign actually.

College Events

Our college mainly is famous for many events particularly cultural ,for one annum many fests are held where students can find some relax time to enjoy themselves from there busy day to day timetable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Actually it is based on economically. I think for some people it is expensive but for some people it is ok.I think many other colleges also have same rule that is fees based on the economy status of that particular.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has separate section for that schorships called as scholarship section.Mainly most of the students apply for NSP scholarship which was very useful for many students and also provided with free messing also.

Campus Life

There are many extra circular activities in our college as compared to many other engineering colleges as I personally observe.there are many sports which we can play and to understand clearly there are many labs also which are very helpful to us.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel infrastructure:7/10 ,our college has one of the greatest architecture here in India. But coming to hostels those were also great but these are built long ago so it's some what the negative reason. Facilities:9/10. Here we will be provided with all good facilities.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has very friendly seniors or alumins we can get their contacts easily and they are also very helpful to us in any matter they can be helpful to us both seniors who are in our college and alumins of our college.

Admission

First I wrote JEE mains and got selected to write JEE advanced and by getting good score in that exam I got IIT ,actually this is the only process for any student to enter into any IIT and there will be no payment seat in IIT s.

Faculty

Actually talking about faculty in iits normally have very great faculty.Samely our college which is IIT ROORKEE also has very good faculty who encourage us all the time and also clarify our doubts even in their free time every one here will be friendly toward the students here.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT.
