College management is good interactive and supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers here are well trained and highly qualified. There is a well organized schedule for all classes. My course is more specific to research and lab work which is quite beneficial for me as teachers are always supportive. There were at least 1 industrial visit every semester.
Placement Experience
Huge placement opportunities have been given to every student who studies from Chandigarh University. Almost 90-95% of students get placed every year.
College Events
Various cultural programs like youth fest, Tashan nights, CU fest, fresher Farwell parties and a lot of celebrities comes to CU for there live performances. Also science fairs poster making competetions, and also various sports competitions held in cu. And a huge no. Of students participate in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to me, fee structure is quite good and it's not that expensive. Online mode from claims is the way we can easily submit our fees. Also cash and challans also accepted for the fee payment. There is no additional charge but if for some they do they will compensate that in our regular fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college provides scholarship to worthy students. I haven't opted one so I dont know much about its procedures.
Campus Life
Gender ratios females/males are different in different departments. There is a diversity of students in the university. Students from outside India were here to study. Students are quite good and friendly with everyone. The whole campus is anti-ragging. Students who found guilty suspended immediately.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite neat and clean. Mess food is very good menus changes from time to time. Housekeeping is also available 24/7. Security of the hostel is also quite good. We can feel like home there. Washrooms are also quite clean. Doorstep laundry facility is also available.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are very helpful. They interact with juniors very nicely. Alumni networks are quite good.
Admission
It's very easy to take admission in CU as in for my course as there is no entrance test. Labs are filled with good and new equipment thatswhy I choose CU as my institute. The admission procedure is not soo difficult you can easily fill a Fastrack form and then CU will call You and give you the whole detail.
Faculty
There are almost 4 lectures on every subject per week. Teachers were quite young here, therefore, they could teach us in new ways. Lectures are taught basically with ppts. Almost every teacher here is from very well-reputed universities. Various guest lectures are also organized by the institute from time to time.
