The college with a natural ambience

Positive : Government college, Feasible fee structure, Good faculty and library, Infrastructure was pretty good, It was surrounded by nature. Negative : Transportation was bad, City life was not there, Food facility was bad.

We were having MG UNIVERSITY syllabus which is now combined with all other technical universities as a part of KTU. the curriculum was pretty old model with less updation while now KTU have more practical real-time sessions which will help students to gather more knowledge. All together we had 8 semesters in which first two sems were almost equal with all other streams. On the last year we are having one project and seminar.

They were providing placement for IT sectors mainly but I was in mechanical so I couldn't able to find a good company under the placements taking place in college but they were providing enough and adequate training for the placements.

Fee structure was so feasible while comparing to the private college fee structure. Yearly we were having a cost of 10k for the fee.while private firms will be having 90k. But actually it was a government facility though. They should not be charging any single penny in terms of fee.

Yeah I was availing a scholarship named egrantz which in turn give me 10k to cover up the tuition fee. It was very helpful and a financial aid for those who was suffering with financial crisis.and there were many scholarship for girls separately.

Library s were having a lot of books department wisely and I was using for the entire sems in order to boost my technical knowledge. In labs we were having some serious troubles because labs was not ready that much while we were studying.

Yes, I was in the government hostel which was pretty good because that hostel and college was surrounded by small forests and we were having a natural ambience while studying overthere but in terms of transportation it was just okay to be.

Yeah, the alumni is pretty good. They are making good movements in conducting programs and charity. They are running a serious placements sell inside the alumni which gives us a chance to participate in placements.

I got admission through the kerala entrance exam (KEAM) conducted by kerala government. After my plus two course I applied for the kean exam through the government portal then I prepared for the same. For God's sake I got a rank within 5k and I applied for mechanical stream in this college and I got selected.

They were pretty good because our college was a government college so the faculties were having a good track record and experience which in turn gives us good mentors.some of the guest lectures were having very low experience in teaching.
