Remarks

The college is not too good not too bad. They have good teachers or teaching staff good environment , but the college falls behind in case of infrastructure in comparison to other colleges in different states.

The course is not bad. I did say it's average. No frequent exams but conducted strict exams. Unfair means are not allowed. In case of labs, you can be there if u have doubts and wants to do more and learn more.

Placement Experience

The college does not have link with any companies out their. Its not that studying here is hopeless but the companies nor the state has yet to take the system to a different level. But we can be sure to get a job.

College Events

Due to the state issues and affairs and many other holiday and strikes the college is unable to hold many event even if they want. Because sometimes the syllabus are not fully covered. Yet, they organised Science week, sports, NSS camp, college week, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. The student needs to pay for their admition in the beginning of each session. The college has offered 3 year course with 2 semester per year. Students need to pay in the bank provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan facility. But the student may get from outside if they wished. The college has offered scholarship to the students who topped the entrance test. Other student can also apply other scholarship in state and national levels.

Campus Life

The college has no sex orientation. There is no racism. The college welcome everyone who wants to study here. The treat every student equally and there is no bullying and ragging among the students.

Alumni/Alumna

When I was in the 1st semester or on my first day there is no such thing as ragging and bullying can be seen unlike those we sees in the movie. The seniors are friendly. And they advised about the college system. it's pretty good.

Admission

I got admitted in the college through entrance test. Student have to seat an entrance test. And the selected student are allowed to be admitted in the college. The college offer many subjects in the stream.

Faculty

The professor are more then qualified. They are experienced and good teachers. They are ready to help u when you are in need. The faculty offers major in different subjects. And each subject has more than 10 teaching staff ready to help you.

College life of Standard College, Kongba

Likes

One thing I like most about our college is that, there is a sufficient number of teaching staff and non teaching faculties to guide us through every needs of ours
Our college is also equipped with a swimming pool and a fitness centre for the students to keep up their health along with our study.
Our college is equipped with enough computers in our laboratory and we can use to practice our computer knowledge when there is no classes of computer science honours students

Dislikes

The classrooms are a little dilated than what we usually expect of a college to look like.
The library is too small to sit and read to be a College library.
The non teaching staff sometimes are very rude to the students that it's a little hurtful at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very much in the study of living organisms which lead to my decision of choosing the subject of zoology as my honours subject. The course not only teaches us about the living organisms existing today but also the ones that once existed on this planet. We also learned about how this organisms evolved to be the ones we are seeing today. It is also a mixture of history and geography to get this accurate rate of evolution for every species and organisms living today. I would like to suggest a new training system for the teachers to improve their overall knowledge of other related topics including in the study of zoology like history and geography, not only the core subjects. The timing and frequency of exams are reasonable and also let us have suffice time to prepare ourselves for the examination.

The cafeteria food is not that good and hygienic
The cafeteria food is also very overpriced

Functions are held occasionally, they say they are more focused on academics and sports rather than festivities, but I think they don't have enough funds for that we have ncc programs, gyms, a badminton court, etc.

My college is located on the serene hills of manipur and it stands as a beacon of quality and holistic education.It not only aims at academic performance but it also aims in building characters of the students. It consists of diverse students around
The teachers are well learned and they are ever ready to help us and help us clear our doubts. They are friendly and they also help ua to impart knowledge not only from books but also from their life experiences.The faculties members are well dedicat
The campus also introduced with lots of group to help the students engage in various clubs.The campus also provide different clubs in which the students can explore themselves. The college not only provide knowledge but also help improve students.

Dislikes

The college is located in the hills and it is isolated from the town and cities which make us difficult to engage in daily activit and internet service is poor with irregular light facilities and we usually face water scarcities which cause problems
The college is a collection of different students with diverse culture from across the state and sometime groupism occurs which is a disadvantage to the students.They fail to interact with people frm different culture and this caused a huge problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find keen interest in plants and this helps me to decide in taking up this course.I admire people who loves nature and taking up this course makes me feel iam connected to nature and it helps me to understand the design of nature. I also have a keen interest in keeping our environment clean and also I love animals. We not only learn theoretically but we also learn practically n saw with our own eyes how well design the nature is.science is all about studying facts. Our college conducts test all the time and it help us to learn about in which topic we are lacking and help us to work better on ourself.

review of Computer science department at Moirang College, Manipur University.

Likes

Computer department has things needed wifi, digital class, computers, etc.
College is small but very calm and peaceful.
Teaching staff are very active. They even call students for the special classes and assignment.

Dislikes

College Sanitation need to be updated ASAP.
No Accommodation facilities are available.
No college bus is available for the college students.

The eligibility seemed same but i was told about rumours going on about the college thar sometimes exams might not be held regularly and lack of classes held in betweeen seasons . The admission was fast and easy with this college as it had a time specific counselling...Read More
