Remarks

Positive remarks: Good maintainance of cleanliness. Well qualified lecturers. Best placement drives. Good computer, physics labs. Internet connectivity. Peaceful library Negatives: Poor English in lecturers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like this course. It have maths, stats and computer science. I mainly like computers. So I took this over MPCs in which we have physics. We have 2 semisters every year and 6 in the whole for 3 years.

Placement Experience

Yes we have placements in big multi national companies like wipro, tech Mahindra, TCS. All these companies make drives and select students who are eligible. These companies provide internships for 3 or 5 years with Mtech course.

College Events

Fresher's party Independence day Republic day Annual day Bathukamma festival And many more. Last year we celebrated our silver Jubilee of College as our College completed 25 years. The celebrations are really awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah the fee Structures are feasible for middle class families. I need to pay 27, 500 fee yearly for 3 years excluding exam fees. Of which I will get 12000 fees reimbursement from our government Of Telangana

Fees and Financial Aid

I will get a fees reimbursement of 12000 from government of Telangana. All my other SC, ST and BC friends get extra 7000 rs as scholarship including fees reimbursement from the government. Our College doesn't provide any scholarship or loan facility.

Campus Life

We have sports events every year. We have kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, carrom board, chess, running tournaments. Prizes are also distributed for winners on republic day. Also we participate in many rallies which are useful for a good society.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have much time to interact with our seniors. Their building is different. And some of the seniors have different College timings even if we have same building. Even though, as we met them in events they are very nice.

Admission

I signed up in DOST site of telangan and gave all my details by paying don't fee. I gave a list of 11 Colleges with different courses. I have been selected in this College according to my inter marks.

Faculty

All the lecturers are well qualified. All have completed thier post graduation in their respective subjects but some are poor in English. Teachers are very friendly and kind towards us. Our principal encourages us frequently to get good marks.

Worth considering for your tech career

Likes

The college starts focusing on skill development from the first year instead of waiting until placements
The campus environment is positive and motivates you to stay productive and keep learning
The faculty is approachable so its easy to ask questions and get guidance whenever needed

Dislikes

The workload sometimes can feel intense during project submission weeks
I would like to see more cultural events and entertainment activities throughout the year
As it's still relatively new so there's no proper placement data yet

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Likes

The coding culture is the best thing about NIAT. There are very frequent coding competitions that makes students actually learn things and improve their skills.
The faculty members are very knowledgable and supportive. They are also very friendly and helps everyone when in doubt.
The curriculum is totally updated and new. The use of latest technology and AI is very much focused on. Also provide internships from 1st year itself

Dislikes

The strict rules are a bit too much. The pressure is real and becomes difficult to deal with soetimes
There are hardly any cultural activities or programs. All focus is given on coding and tech related programs.
Its still new and no batch has graduated yet so its kind of difficult to record the placement rate

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Likes

Things I liked they won't charge if they put any event,annual day, they will only charge for farewell that's common l thing in every college they don't show any biased over girl or boy , they won't restrict if boy and girls sits together
They kept more events in 1st year we used to attend them

Dislikes

They stopped keeping events after 2nd year
Lecturers are particular to there subjects like they taught CN subject for 2nd year the same lecture is teaching other subject in next semester
Security watchmens are so strict than clg management

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Good academics , poor facilities

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Dislikes

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Campus environment and facilities are better and easily adoptable
Faculty quality is very high and available for all sections of students
Lab facilities, sports, NCC and NSS camps

Dislikes

Classroom furniture, old buildings and considering other colleges in the town its quite better

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get eligible for different placement offers and many MNC's and corporate companies offered placements . Average package known to my knowledge is in between 3-4 LPA and almost 70% of eligible students who attended placements were placed in different campanies .

Likes

Sufficient time for developing skills in various fields
No financial pressure on students for examinations
Comparatively better placement rate and stats

Dislikes

Campus size, it is very small and insufficient
Infrastructure is very minimal and doesn't look like an engineering college
No hostel facility for non-locals, no bus facility for day scholars

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

I really like the infrastructure of my college. Although it's established is 1995 the infrastructure is still pretty good with a huge campus of about 100 acres with good area dedicated to nature as well along with good classrooms and neat washrooms
I really like the faculty that teaches in my college. They are well educated and well spoken. I like their teaching methods too
I really like the course curriculum of my college. It's very flexible and simple. It makes our lives easier and makes the learning process simple as well

Dislikes

I don't like the location of the campus . It's in outskirts and very far from the main city
I don't like the concept of dress code everyday . I think out of 5 working days atleast 2 days should be allowed for civil dress
I don't like it's holiday system. It doesn't give holidays on optional ones declared by the government

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from semester 6 to get placed I guess I'm not sure . Hp, Hul, Deloitte etc are the companies that come in. Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Life at Nishita Degree College, Nizamabad

To get admission to a Degree in Telanagana one has to apply on DOST (Degree Online Services Telangana) website and select the preferred colleges. The application fee for DOST is Around Rs.200/- you can apply it yourself or at any nearest Meeseva Centre. You will get alloted seat based on previous study scores. I choose nishita degree college as it is accredited with NAAC C grade and offers both UG and PG courses.students from sc/st or any other reserved quota can avail benefits on admission process.
