Remarks

To be very honest, it is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra. It is strategically located in the lap of nature where you surely find peace and good atmosphere for your academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The experiential learning is the main focus of this college. Corporate training, workshops and guest lecture are also been organised by the college. We have tri semester system and the average number of subjects per semester are 8. We have midterm exams followed by end term. We have also case studies, assignment, quiz and presentations which fulfil the real meaning of experiential learning of the college.

Placement Experience

4

Any big companies maximum of them are coming here at UBS because of there Industrial connects and their valuable alumni. You will get ample of good opportunities to sit for good reputed corporates companies. So I would say the placements, as well as an internship, is much better than other B-schools.

College Events

5

Midnight Sunrise (MSR): This is a flagship event of UBS which is based on the theme of networking concert. Where the students network themselves with corporates from across Mumbai and Pune thus helping students established connections because in today's world your network is your net worth.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is different for different plans. The international courses, of course, cost a fee up to 16-17lakhs and for PGDM it cost you around 12lakhs which includes your tution fees, fooding and lodging. The hostel has to be taken as it is a completely residential course. Single and double sharing options are available.

Fees and Financial Aid

UBS believes in supporting its students in every possible manner. Therefore, there are few scholarships which UBS offers to encourage their students academically. Apart from this UBS has also helped their students who wish to take education loans from banks like State Bank of India(SBI), Allahabad Bank, Bank Of India and many more.

Campus Life

5

The campus life of UBS is pretty chill with great infrastructure and amenities to take with a separate area for hostel and recreation. This leads to a healthier and better life on campus too. There are lots of events that take place throughout the year. There is no gender discrimination and campus strictly follow the anti-ragging policy. In UBS students came from various parts of India and all over the country.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel provides each student with a personal and sharing rooms with attached bathroom, which is comparable to good hotel standard rooms, providing a comfortable living experience. Food is available for every student in a buffet-style offering 4 meals throughout the day. Quality of the food is decent with mainly Indian cuisines available. A recreation room (Indoor Sports) and gym service are also provided.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network in UBS is vast and well connected. The senior students are very helpful and friendly nature. A month long-induction session and a lot of activities which help in breaking down barriers. UBS also has a Facebook page were mostly UBS students are members.

Admission

A PGDM degree is one which can give you a broader perspective of all the specializations, so taking a look at why I have opted this course is as follows This course increases the career opportunities for you. Knowledge gained in PGDM lasts for a lifetime. It helps you in building your networks.

Faculty

4.5

This is the most crucial part when choosing a B-School. Nothing is more important at all if there are no good and experienced faculties in the college. At UBS all the faculties come from very highly experienced corporate backgrounds and by they provide students with the realistic scenario which turns left students with a couple of good insights from the corporate world. UBS has the best faculty team in the industry and amazing faculty with several years of corporate experience which really unmatched by the top b-school in India.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
