Remarks

The college is really good for students to work themselves overall. The college lacks a little in the infrastructure part but I'm sure they will come up with it in future. Overall the ambience and the college location is feasible for the students to commute.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is under the Nagaland University Board. It's a 6 semester course and there is examination held every semester. Every individual is also provided with optional subjects as well like, Education, Political Science, Economics, etc. And these are also included as general subjects.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college is still at it's development stage and as far as my knowledge there isn't any placement or job opportunies opened yet. But I firmly they will follow up soon enough with all the programs required for students to build up their career.

College Events

3.5

The college celebrates cultural fest, fresher's meet, music fest, sport events etc. The participants are mostly from different colleges of Nagaland. Huge crowd gather during the sports events which is at inter college level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

15000(approx) for admission fees. 10000(approx) uniform. 740 monthly fees (arts) 860 monthly fees (science) 1500 sports fee 500 fresher's meet fee 200 magazine fee There are also some students union fees separately taken by the students council.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't have any knowledge about the loan / scholarship facility provided by the college. The scholarship offer are available for the merit students at a certain percentage from the fees. Scholarship offers is auto applied validating the marksheet.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes every senior is really helpful. And the alumni programs are held yearly where there is a yearly reunion for all the alumni. The program helps a lot for the alumni to share ideas and be a greater part of the group and also helps in decision making of the colleges. The program helps the student to connect for better opportunities.

Admission

My poor marks took me over. Just a mediocore student who was always fascinated to explore, but brought down to last option I could possibly select and my interest in the subject. I wanted to take up science but could not. The college authority was kind enough to understand my capabilities and encouraged me.

Faculty

4

The faculty are really helpful. They are highly qualified and trained but very down to earth and can handle the students really well. They understand the students really well. God fearing administrations and faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ever since I was a kid I was always interested in studying history. Infact it was my favourite thing to study. I took up this course because It's fun to study history. As an aspirant taking up history helps me to be more aware of the dates and names for the competitive exams. I think there are no improvements or changes to be made in this course as the lectures teaches so well. If you are taking history as your honors then I suggest you to study everyday and not wait for the last moment as this course is very vast and not easy for one night preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm not sure why I chose this course but yeah I did.....what I am able to tell you is that I was quite a little pushed by people saying that this course would be more important incase I wanted to pursue further studies outside or wanted to appear for civil services .some of the improvements I would like to bring for this curriculum is it would have been better if we were made to study more practically.. maybe bringing some practical learning woul have helped rather than only studying in theory. It would also have been better if the teaching was based on how he/ she wanted the students would have made proper connection rather than being too serious at all times.and I would also have loved it if they would not ask random questions to Radom studies albeit their reluctance I know you want to engage but it makes the students not want to attend the class..... rather you can ask questions and the ones interested can answer you or you can continue on with your class after clarifying your answe

Remarks:

It's packed with the best faculty and also it's the nearest college from where I stay. It has an amazing environment and noise pollution free. It's easy to find transportation also. The college has a lot of extra curriculum activities and provides even counseling. I took up Sociology because I grew up believing I would become a social worker. The college has also produced a good number of toppers and is considered one amongst the most cleanest college in Kohima.
