Remarks

College management is somewhat strict and rarely cares about student problems. They are money minded.

Entrance Preview

I have appeared for eamcet and I got 27246 rank .I opted for this college mainly because computer science faculty is one of the strengths of this college and and I heard a lot about it. Also the college is in the city so I favoured it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is exactly what is mentioned by jntu.but you could happily learn more from faculty in leasure and spend some time in labs and brush up your technical skills.the scope for learning new technology is good atleast for computer students.elective selection is entirely up to college management and there is no student involvement.department hends often find students with good skills and help them in research in respective departments for their major projects.I swear quality of such projects is very good and they are of PhD standards.

Internships Opportunities

Our college started providing internships from last year. Personally I got an internship at PurpleTalk as ios developer for 7k as stipend and few other people got in various companies like Infosys, Sunderland e.t.c.

Placement Experience

4

Honestly , placements were great only for our batch. Purpletalk was first to come with package of 2.5lpa.then followed by Infosys and Amazon for 3.3lpa and 2.7lpa.then gen pact, sutherland with 155 per month. Then 5 more start ups came.overall 150 placements happened.

College Events

3.5

Our college roughly conducts 2 or 3 fests every year and they are reasonably good, which may be technical or cultural. College people do spend quite good amount of money for fests but generally think commercial in case of their earnings through those events. Apart from that inter college sports meets and national level events are also conducted once a year .students have good scope for gaining skills in extra curricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college charges 69k per year for govt fees. And management fees may go up to 1lpa.apart from that they don't take any great amount throughout the course. Students who have fees reimbursement can avail it so that they can study for free. But college do charge some money for lab fees and library fees and exam fee as mentioned by university.

Fees and Financial Aid

No we don't have any scholarships or any such things.Once you finish the course if you do really well in academics they you might get some scholarship from university. College generally doesn't bother about loan facilities. It is your own headache to take care of fees.

Campus Life

3

College environment is very good with 17 clubs and ieee and csi groups.every now and then workshops happen and there is no issue of gender discrimination or ragging.all the students are treated equally in college premises. But in recent batch one or two incidents happened here and there which contributed to ragging.but college management doesn't consider these things so seriously generally.they tend to think only about money all the time. Economic status or regional disputes never happen in college.

Hostel Facilities

2

There is no hostel in our college and we have a canteen which gives nice food for reasonable food.we have many hostels in and around the college for students to stay at very reasonable price. They also provide facilities like free WiFi. Generally rooms wo

Alumni/Alumna

Generally, alumni has got no work to do with college once they leave. They don't care about college once they leave.

Exam Structure

I personally never felt that we gave so many exams and labs when compared to other colleges. Whatever jntu specify is what we follow in the college . There is not much intervention of college to change the default exam structure. But frankly speaking ,stu

Faculty

4.5

I can say it is the core strength of the college atleast when I was studying. But I am not sure whether the same quality is maintained now or not.many of the faculty are very seniors with great knowlege in their respective areas and they encourage student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
