SIET Hyderabad Admission Dates 2026

Admissions to SIET Hyderabad for the 2026-27 session are governed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) through centralized counselling. B.Tech admissions follow TS EAMCET 2026 counselling, which typically runs from August to October. MBA and M.Tech admissions follow TS ICET and GATE/TS PGECET respectively.

Candidates allotted to SIET Hyderabad through TSCHE counselling must report to the institute within the allotted date with original certificates for document verification and fee payment. Spot allotment rounds may be available for remaining seats after main counselling rounds conclude.

SIET Hyderabad Courses and Fees

SIET Hyderabad offers B.Tech across seven engineering specialisations, along with M.Tech and MBA at the postgraduate level. Total fees are calculated from the published year-wise fee structure for 2025-26.

Fee concessions under the Telangana State government TS EPASS scholarship scheme are available for eligible SC, ST, BC, and EWS students. B.Tech Year 1 fee is INR 1,03,500 (including tuition of INR 68,000 and additional fees of INR 35,500). Years 2 through 4 fee is INR 1,00,500 per year.

SIET Hyderabad Admission Process

B.Tech

B.Tech admissions at SIET Hyderabad are entirely through TS EAMCET counselling conducted by TSCHE. No direct admission or management quota is applicable under the TSCHE-regulated process.

• Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST). Must have a valid TS EAMCET rank.
• Step 1: Register for TS EAMCET counselling at tsche.ac.in. Pay the processing fee and upload documents.
• Step 2: Exercise web options (college and branch preferences). SIET Hyderabad can be selected during option entry.
• Step 3: Allotment letter issued based on TS EAMCET rank and seat availability. Report to SIET within the reporting deadline.
• Step 4: Document verification at SIET. Pay the institutional fee to confirm admission.

M.Tech

M.Tech admission requires a valid GATE score or TS PGECET rank. TSCHE conducts TS PGECET counselling through which seats at SIET are filled. GATE-qualified candidates with a valid score also apply through TSCHE.

MBA

MBA admission is through TS ICET conducted by TSCHE. Eligibility is a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. TS ICET counselling governs seat allocation to SIET’s MBA programme across Finance, HR, and Marketing specialisations.

SIET Hyderabad Placements

SIET Hyderabad has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that facilitates campus recruitment and internships for students. In the most recent placement cycle, 364 UG students were placed from a pool of 508 eligible students, a placement rate of approximately 71%. For PG students, 65 out of 71 eligible students were placed.

Recruiters predominantly draw from IT services, software development, electronics, and analytics domains, consistent with SIET’s engineering programme mix.
