Remarks

The college may need some corrections and changes, but overall it holds a good remark on almost every student. It has a bad name for being overly conducting of fests and events rather than course curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is not totally awesome but is good with good time management. All the subjects and labs are properly timed and well-conducted. There are two mid-terms for a semester and both of them are periodically conducted by dividing the syllabus into two halves. The exam day might be a little hectic but other than that the curriculum is not so boring and one can get along with peace and chill.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements and job opportunities are very good in our college. Just in the last year 2019, we got nearly 50 students being placed in TCS and other IT companies. Our college is regularly on the news of opportunities with drives and interviews being held most of the time. Yes, our college provides us with internship opportunities too. They bring us a lot of workshops and technical support from different small and big scale industries. And yes they are very helpful for our future.

College Events

4.5

Our college conducts department-wise technical events all the time. Department fest is all dealt with the department faculty and the students with the administration as the support and judge. Our college is also holding up the name for the biggest cultural event ever being conducted in any college. It's Shizany and is held as a DJ night that is conducted every year along with a traditional day and the annual day. All three are being held day by day as a three-day management festival. These are very big that they hold up a local record. Our college also conducted the Vinayak chaviti the Ganesh festival with a gunnies record of 10,000 and more student's gathering at a time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for b-tech is 75,400/- per year and seemingly with the scholarship support it is feasible. The fee structure after the scholarship being credited is not entirely bad. On overall comparison with the other competitors, college upholds a fee with the good utility of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college avails different kinds of scholarship schemes. One from the jntuh for economically backward class students with a sum of 35,000 reimbursements, if the students conduct in the entrance test, is above average and is providing free seats for all those who ranked in top 10,000 ranks.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities are held all the time along with Academics. We have all the sports namely from badminton, Coco, cricket, kabaddi, basketball, volleyball, throw ball, football, etc, Student parties are totally supported and welcomed by management. There is no gender bias and rivalry on the basis of gender. All are equally supported and encouraged. Student politics are not that popular around in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

All the freshers have a good interactive session with their seniors and are warmly welcomed into the college. In fact, senior year students volunteer for guidance at the orientation speech and get to interact with the freshmen. They help us gain the picture about the college up to the day. And it was very helpful for me.

Admission

I got admission through the EAMCET examination, I've got to choose this course as I am solely interested in technical subjects. After being admitted I needed to get verified with all my certificates & got to interact with the administration of the college. And then I had to choose the stream in the course. At last, the fee is to be paid at the admin itself.

Faculty

4

We got not many professors with a doctorate as of now and many more are being picked up for a good projection of course on the students. All the other faculty are qualified with a minimum of a single Master's while some with Ph.D. So the faculty is so far a decent one. They are strict about the studies and are also supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
