Remarks

Worst thing is that I have still not received my Wigan & Leigh UK Certificate yet even after almost 5+ years and I am still waiting for it, sad thing is we has paid separately every year a huge fees in Euro for this UK certificate and still have not recei

Entrance Preview

I had given their internal entrance exam and got selected in it followed with the process of GD and interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum was good it was based on industry knowledge and we often use to get guest lectures from the corporates, as it's a non AICTE & UGC approved college.

Internships Opportunities

It actually depends on the students skills as well and not on on the college, I had got my first internship with HCL Infosystems with a Stipend of 9000 INR a month, so according to me it was good. I must say if you have basic working skills internship will not be a problem with WLCI. Few of my friends had also got selected in ITC Kolkata.

Placement Experience

4

If we perform good then we are absorbed by the companies where we did our internship, placement assistant was good they even supported me to get job when I shifted to BANGALORE after my marriage in 2011 thought I had passed from the college in June 2010 only and salary offered was also good since we were already working as interns for last 2 years during the PGDBE.

College Events

2.5

Every year we had a cultural fests, as far as I remember that's the only event we had. There lot of other college fests where our college had also participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Quiet an expensive college but if you are confident enough you might recover half of the fees during your internship only in 2008-2010 session I had paid 3, 20, 000 INR and 10000 INR as security deposit which they usually tend to eat up through some fake late payment fees structure, I literally had to fight with them for 5 years to get my security money back, finally I had received it in 2015.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, it's quiet difficult to get education loans but yes my father HS got it for me from Vijaya bank and there were other banks also which were lending loans for eduction at WLCI but you really have to suffer a lot to get these education loans.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was ok, and I even don't have much idea about it as we had our sessions from 8 am in the morning till 11:30 am and from 12 noon we had to be in our offices for internship, so quiet hectic schedule it was.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

They did not had hostel facility at that time and I am not sure about it as of now if they have it currently.

Alumni/Alumna

That time we didn't had an active alumni network but yes it was present and our seniors were really cooperative and have helped us in all the aspects to excel in our performance both at academic and at internship inspire of such a hectic schedule what we had that time.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very hectic, we had lot of assignments every semester which we had to submit before appearing for the exams and exams were also not that easy.

Faculty

3

Ok kind of, some professors were really good but few were horrible who didn't even knew how to take an MBA class. But in my experince it was good only as I have seen faculty in their different campuses in Kolkata, Lucknow which is now closed and Bangalore

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.
