No, the University is one of the best in India. We sometimes need big campus bit as the University Will grow we Will get it. NRTI commenced operations in September 2018 with its first batch of approximately 100 students enrolled for two undergraduate programmes.
It is a unique course in India based on transportation management. I think that the transport sector is going to be a huge demanding sector in India. Classes are air- conditioned with good infrastructure, smart classrooms, unlimited Wi- Fi. There is a library which has more than 5, 000 books. The course is good and prepares the students industry- ready. The course focuses more on practical skills rather than theoretical skills.
This institution was founded in 2018, and its first batch will get pass out in 2021. So till now, no placements has happened but as the faculty members are world- class faculty members so the placements will be good and with a good percentage. The institute is run by railways, and all the faculty members are from renowned institutions of India.
As the college now has 200 students, so the students organise small events. We don't have big fests. NRTI students have established the following clubs/societies: Explorer's Club, Sports Club, Quiz Club, Social Service Club, Dance Club, Literary Club, Movie Aficionados Club, Music Club, Media Club, Tech Club, Theatre Club, Event Management Club.
The gender ratio is 1:7. We have field visits to some railway related offices, we also have internship in Indian railways. Sports facilities are good but as campus is small we can use it for a limited period of time. We have clubs and they are functional. As the university is running in National Academy of Indian railways campus so sports facilities can be used in a limited time period. A small medical dispensary is available on the campus for medical facilities.
The institute's campus is under construction. As of now, we are in the NAIR campus of the officers. There is 24x7 hush speed internet available. Computer and railway labs, library, sports complexes for individual sports, indoor sports in the hostel, huge hostel rooms with air conditioner and geyser along with private bathroom are available. The campus also has a clinic, and the food served in the mess is healthy.
No as the University is new we don't have any alumnI network. National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI) is a pioneer in the field of transport education in India. It is the first- of- its- kind university with a vision to develop a cadre of young graduates who are empowered problem- solvers with an actionable understanding of the transportation ecosystem. NRTI’s path- breaking programmes, which commenced in 2018 with its first batch of approximately100 undergraduate students, have a unique pedagogical focus on experiential learning and practice and cutting- edge research and innovation, through the lens of management and technology.
I Choose this course because it is a unique course in India based on transportation management. I think that the transport sector is going to be a huge demanding sector in India. As the college now has 200 students, so the students organise small events. We don't have big fests. Institute provides scholarships based on the parents' annual income.
Institute has faculty members who are professors of IITs and IIMs. All teachers are one of the best in India. The teaching quality is best, and the faculty is friendly and helpful. Here the curriculum is unique as not only they are preparing us with transportation knowledge but also soft skills are being taught as to settle well in the corporate world.
So from semester, 6 students become eligible for placement for BBA students the offers are less but yes companies do visit for campus placements So previous year the companies which had come were Asian Paints, Flipkart, Amazon, Yes Bank and a few more Almost every company recruited 5-6 students from every batch of BBA and MBA. So the average package was around 4 lakhs per annum and the highest was 8 lakhs per annum. My plans are for getting a campus placement in some bank.
The college is near to my home. The student crowd is good and productive in college. The college was the only option to me to join as this was the only college I was getting admission. I am hoping to get good memories from this college.
The most bad thing is attendence you must have 75% attendence in your semester then only you will be allowed to give exam you can only attempt for remidials on which you can only score 12 marks even if you get 30 out of 30 you will get only 12 marks because of low attendance
The coin has always 2 sides. One is negative and the other is positive for someone else. I always try to pick up positive instead of negative where I got so many things to learn from why I should say negative about my institute that was not taught by my faculty.
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) qualification with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent is required for BBA.Students can pass HSC in any discipline from any recognized University. No other Entrance test conducted.But. before the admission candidates have to appear in the personal interview.
Our college placement cell gives lots of effort for every student's placement. In my course, placement is 100% sure.In every year, a large number of recruiters visits and most of the students get placements in Banking and Insurance sector and also in the other Industries.Packages also good in Insurance jobs.Every student is satisfied with their job profiles.
If you are thinking to get commerce admission after 12th standards then the college is very good and with reasonable fee structure. Its granted college so faculties are also good and you also get good education.
