PES modern college of engineering Pune is under Pune university. College management system is taking good efforts. Sports facilities must be provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and acknowledgeable. Exam structure is satisfactory while online exam was cancelled. It is useful for knowledge. For making a better progressive and professional future practical approach has to be followed. Students must get practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are good in our college. I hav not yet tried for internship. College takes good efforts to make students aware of placements and trains them.
College Events
Many fest's are arranged in the college. Participants from other colleges also come to participate in our events. Technical events like coding oriented and programming are conducted. Cultural events like traditional day, group day are being organised. Students actively participate in the college programs and enjoy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is slightly expensive. First year fee is 104000. While government helps with mahadbt by fee waiver schemes which are commendable. Cash, cheque and demand draft mode of payments are accepted by the college. No additional fees are taken. Yes there is transparency in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I have opted for Maharashtra state government dbt scholarship. Post matric scholarship for obc students is what I chose. This can be done by going on online website www.mahadbt.gov.in to avail benefits. Documents required for the scholarship must be provided.
Campus Life
Campus is too small and no ground for playing. Gender ratio is high. Students from across the state come to study in our college. Labs are well managed. Equipment are easily available. Competitive event like robotics and automobile making is amazing. Debate and presentation skills are tested. Equal treatment is observed.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel. I live in a rental flat. Average rent is 14000 per month. Mess fees go upto 3000 per month for food two times a day. Many hostels on cot basis system are not spacious and comfortable. They are highly expensive.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes senior students are helpful. They help in opting books and studying. No malpractices like ragging are practiced in our college.
Admission
Through mhcet cap process conducted by the dte admission procedure was done. Three cap rounds were conducted and I took admission after third round. My admission was confirmed on 6th August 2019. I am interested in machine learning and AI. So I chose computer department in engineering.
Faculty
Average age of teachers is maybe 35years. Clearity on a subject is expected and teachers are upto it. Each subject has two faculties one for theory and other for practical lectures. Teachers for mathematics are awesome. Engineering mechanics team needs to be evaluated by the management. Sports is not given any importance.
