B.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics Course

Just a remark that whenever be out from home just be like a crow as no one is going to treat you a child anymore. just start flying ignoring the risks.

The course curriculum here is very judicious and very basic and core-focused on nutrition and dietetics. Although they make us very much market-oriented job capturing with MOOC and NPTEL Courses along with these core courses. It would not be wrong to say that the courses with practical experience is well-drafted here in the curriculum with properly taking care of grooming the child from a job point of view too.

Various nearby hospitals, research institutes are in collaboration with the Institute which are working along with CU to enhance the student's placement and upliftment opportunities in the area of Nutrition and Dietetics along with Food Sciences.

Since 2018 various college and University level competitions has been organized which of them common are Freshers Party, Abhivyakti (Literary Event), Red Cross Events of Blood Donation, Social Activities in nearby Villages on COVID 19, Industrial visit to nearby Bread and Biscuit production Industries, Expert lectures by the Entrepreneurs and the Dieticians from PGIMR, Chandigarh has been conducted. An overall great exposure and still much more.

There are various modes of relaxation and discounts for the meritorious students' academic and co-curricular activity-wise. Special relaxation to SC/ST students for uplifting the Indian education system as a whole. Special scholarship programs who have achieved a certain state-level or any achievement during thier school time or so.

I have not been availing any scholarship here but for highly talented and academic performing well students got the scholarship as per the rules and regulations of the University from time to time.

Campus life is very much secure, enthusiastic and learning in every moment of life as there are so many clubs in Universities which remain active in exploring out the hidden talent in the students as well as recovering the study loss or upliftment of weak students and community students.

WE are the seniors and we do interact with all other students not only from our department but from other departments as well.Its a small community a home away from home after leaving actual home.

I opt for this course to be aware of the Nutrition and Diet planning in day to day lives initially. But gradually i have developed an interest in taking up this as my profession because it's more dignified and at a similar level to the Doctors. Chandigarh University is NAAC A+ accredited and UGC certified and nearby my area. Moreover all-around to and fro drop facility by BUS that's exemplary and took away the worry from my parents of being hosteler.

Faculty of Nutrition and Dietetics is majorly highly experienced with vast knowledge and applications can be seen in as practical performance by them during research. They are multitasking and help us improve in every sense of theory, practical and personal as well.
