Remarks
Not great placements in Mechanical. But College and faculties are good. In term of Academics it's good but Infrastructure is not appreciable. You can enjoy with friends but canteen is very poor (new canteen is in process hope may it will be good).
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good. It's is followed by almost 70%of engineering college in Gujarat. So we can say it's bad. Most of the GATE syllabus is also been covered in it. Actually it provides a good base for competitive exam (as per seniors).
Placement Experience
Computer related branch have great placements around 4lakhs of average. Infosys is one of recruiter. Other branch don't have great placement. Around 60% get placement while other don't. It is also because Gujarati medium Student faces difficulties in communication in Eng so this could be possibility.
College Events
Our college organise IMAZE this is our event which is enjoyed by nearby all the college's around us. Around 10-15 College join event. All technical and non technical events took place. It is been appreciated by most of the people nearby.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is okay. Around 1 lakh 20 thousand is the fee. Hostel and mess fees are not included. Engineering fee is fair I suppose. This much fee is common in Gujarat engineering college. Engineering fee range from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh in Gujarat.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have scholarship Like MYSY and also University scholarship and free ship card for Backward class. But you should fullfill there criteria and attendance should be maintain above 75% and you should score in exams fairly.
Campus Life
May events and sports activities takes place. This year we started GPL (GCET Premiar League) and some more sports event are going to organise this year like badminton and volleyball. Lab teachers are good but equipments are pretty old. Theres no issue Gender and caste, color, economic status.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't opt hostel I currently live in a PG. It's Preety cheap 12000 annual. Two sharing it's in front of this college. College is just few step away. This pg is below average but can be used if you could adjust yourself.
Alumni/Alumna
I have no contact with alumini of my particular branch. Even though my so called sister did CSE(computer science) from Here she rated this College average not much great (before my admission). She told this colleges have value of his degree.
Admission
In Gujarat we should apply for merit list named ACPC. ACPC booklet can be bought from a bank (name of a bank came to know). From that we get merit list and according to that you can select your branch and College. Information of previous rank of branches wrt to college will will provided in that booklet.
Faculty
You find experienced Professors as well as trainee professors. Although you find some great faculties and they are very cooperating. They also teach well but there are some exceptions. HOD of our branch is also a great teacher. So overall 7 rating.
