Remarks

It's a very good college in odisha. Which does not charges you like other colleges but gives you full exposure to every facility one can get in a very good college. Even international students come here to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have some great center of excellence for electrical engineering branch, it's includes automation equipments form Siemens and Bosch and you get to learn what others are not learning, so you have eldge over others.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are quite high in ETC branch and CS branch. The college sends students to do internship at the company which gave them job offer in the 8th semester. The IT companies pay around 12k stipend for full internship.

College Events

The cultural and technical events are fun and with a lot of cash prizes too. They are quite easy to participate in and also fun to do. The cultural fest is called celegance and it lasts 2 days, the technical fest is called vidyantrik and it also lasts 2 days

Considering the facility provide by the institute the the fee is quite decent(at least for 2020 batch) Tfe fees gas been spiked a little after some revisions but I can assure you that you are not allowed to

The college provides 50 thousand a year to extraordinary students who kept high attendance and good marks too and for the learning activities to skyearocket one mus have interest in me too. Otherwise it's all useless

Campus Life

The sports are pretty good which have almost equal participation of boys and girls. We have students from almost every part of India, even from abroad. Students don't face any kind of problem. They are well accepted among the students. The college is very friendly to everyone regardless of ethnicity.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are available in various sizes and comfort levels, there are also AC rooms and also single sharing rooms too along with double sharing or triple sharing. The mess is located behind the hostel and open all time during day

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. The guide students into national and international hackathons too. Recently a senior got the first ever gold medal for India at international hackathon held in Russia. Another guy won Singapore hackathon too.

Admission

The jee main marks were used for seat allocation in ojee. I had always liked electrical engineering so I decided to opt this branch, last year EEE branch has also been introduced in the college and its great branch considering placement and also public sector jobs.

Faculty

In the recent years the old faculty members have left the college but no problem as the new ones are pretty good too. The principal and vice principal are too good and work towards to making new things available at college

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

An Honest Look at Life and Learning at CV Raman Global University

I chose CV Raman Global University over some other colleges I applied to mainly because it offered my preferred course with reasonable fees, decent infrastructure and an acceptable placement record. I had also applied to a few government and well-known private colleges, but I could not secure admission there due to higher cutoffs, strong competition and rank limitations in entrance exams. Compared to those colleges, CVRGU provided quicker confirmation, flexible admission timelines and a clear course structure, which made the decision easier. The admission process was smooth and student-friendly, based on eligibility criteria like minimum marks in Class 12 for UG courses, and it accepts exams such as JEE Main along with merit-based admissions. Comparing to different colleges such as iter or kiit universities then here you get good opportunity to participate in different clubs and show off their skill infront of the officials .
