Remarks

My college is very strict and disciplined about rules there is good and also bad too. The situation is like our security have more authority then student/faculties in my college in my college attendance problem are always stuck on our mind.

Entrance Preview

I want to go with CAT Process and i dont want to believe in 60% aggregate strategy real talent of student is behind in own talent. I believe to took technical skills and test to caught a right employee for organization.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

According to my university it is too old and it was used in 90's world but still we have to learn because of basic knowledge is necessary for innovation. Our faculty is so experience and well known about subject and guide me about innovative ideas and entrepreneurship.

Internships Opportunities

The one local company came into my campus for Internship program the students are excite to place and get stipend. But as well as company has own terms and conditions so the stipend was 10000 pm.

Placement Experience

4.5

First TCS came to our campus and offer 3.23 Lacs per annum. Many more company as amazon offer 2.15 lacs per annum. L&T infra came to our campus and give 3 lacs per annum to mechanical students. Ambuja cement ltd came to our campus and offer 2.76 Lacs per annum.

College Events

In my college there is 2 kind of fesival projections and dhoom in projections there are 32 events are organized in 2 day program and participant do some certain technical task. Dhoom is a cultural/sports program to motivate a student for own their hobbies in dhoom all class must have to participate in dance, music and sports activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I heard about minority loan for the education and in my class many student applied for it and pay only half of fees paid to university.

Campus Life

Our campus life is excellent in my college there are different days celebration and annual function as sports, cultural and music function. Our college organize technical festival every year. Gender ratio is big part of our college in my college 70 -30 ratio as Male-female.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel fees are above 70,000 per annum the food was average and it is common to all hostels. Mess food is fresh but there is no taste. Our director of college took care of the food and supervised mess any time the mess food quality is sometimes not good as we expected and we miss our home.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are so nice and excellent guide for me they are not want to ragging /harassment but they look as our younger brother/sister and give moral support to face college life and culture.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour. Then on the second visit (if you didn't proceed prior) they assign an intern who efficiently guides you through the admission process from the fee payment to briefing you about the exam structure and other pieces of information that might come in handy in future....Read More
