Remarks
The college management is sometimes good and sometimes bad. They don't sponsor students in other colleges for activities. They provide a good facility for industrial visits. They have a good schedule for exams that is they finish the exam as fast they could. The management has good sophisticated decisions for holidays.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and exam structure are decided by Gujarat Technical University. It has a set 150 marks system which is 70 marks externals 30 marks internal 50 marks lab practicals. The syllabus is theoretical meaning more focused on theory. Well, it helps in knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good. Almost 90% of students get placed. But over the years the placement percentage is decreasing because of not effective batches. The college doesn't provide internships but they develop projects which help the students for the placement.
College Events
The college has events in sports, cultural and technical. The events are Imaze, volcano, technica, exodia, gcet premiere league, table tennis tournament. These all events are held during the weekend. The event image is the biggest event. Apart from the many workshops are also conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is semi feasible. The total fee is INR 119000 and mess and hostel charges are INR 40000. The mode of payment is through cheque. The college charges per semester. Well for localities they have bus services. The government has provided 99% of fee breakdown for economically weaker sections.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I have not opted for any scholarship. The college has provided scholarships of INR 67000 which is half of the college fees.
Campus Life
The campus is not so big. There are 3 buildings overall.2 buildings for the civil department and the Mechtronics department. The college has a very well-furnished auditorium and seminar hall. The laboratories are equipped with modern machinery. The college student ratio is generally large. The boys are more compared to girls. One department has no girls in it.
Alumni/Alumna
The college seniors are very helpful and mindful. They are very interactive. At starting they were not seen because of their busy schedule. They threw a freshers party. They make us aware of all events happening in college. They never bullied us.
Admission
I got admission through the 12th std percentage and engineering entrance exam GUJCET. The college requires merit which is calculated from 60%boards and 40% entrance exams. The process is done by the committee ACPC. Well, there were 3 rounds of the admission process to fill the college seats.
Faculty
The college has set the schedule from 10:30 A.M to 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM. There are 3 lectures and 2 lab sessions. The faculties are very excellent at knowledge. But some of them are freshers in teaching like they are not interactive with students. Well, some faculty have good industry knowledge.
