Course Curriculum Overview
The course included basic to advanced courses of nutrition and dietetics. Practical oriented subjects are there to get deep knowledge. Industrial visits, workshops, and seminars are held regularly in the department. Campus placement is good as we are the first batch in this programme.
Placement Experience
The college has MOUs with different hospitals and industries. After degree one can get jobs in hospitals and clinics. Work as entrepreneurs.
College Events
An event such as Nutri health tech Salad making competition Fireless cooking competition Declamation Debate, poster competition on nutrition week, mocktail competition, there are different clubs made by the department that organize different activities like in fitness club there is yoga, meditation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. If one can not afford university provided education loan. One can submit 10000 to secure his or her seat in the program. Rest of the amount can be given later. One can submit fees by the online system. Fee for this program is around 50000 per semester.

Admission department helps you to get a loan or any scholarship. There are criteria to get all these facilities.
Campus Life
There is an equal ratio of girls and boys on campus. Students are from places. National and international students are there. They get a friendly environment there with equal facilities and care. There is an event where all the students can participate, sports meet. Fresher parties. They get exposure to show their talent.
Alumni/Alumna
As we are the first batch in this programme. So we only have seniors from another department. All are very helpful.
Admission
I have an interest in nutrition and dietetics, so I have decided to take admission in CU as they provide scholarships and a good environment to get exposure. Minimum 50% marks required with maths or biology to get admission in Chandigarh University for nutrition and dietetics program.
Faculty
Lectures are scheduled according to credit hours. Teachers have expertise in nutrition programm. Smart classes are there in university. Well equipped laboratories where we perform the practicals. Industrial visits are there. Workshops, seminars and different competitions to get exposure.
