Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is structured by experienced teachers. Our syllabus is based on the UGC exam. Around all topics are covered in the syllabus as per UGC guidelines. In each semester our department organizes industrial visits for better exposure and to enhance our skills.
Placement Experience
a number of companies are coming for placement every year. cu has a good placement record. students having a percentage above 60 are allowed to sit in the placement drive.
College Events
A number of events like youth festival, Lohri, tech invent, science day are celebrated in the university campus every year. in all these events students are free to participate. In many events, students from different universities also participate and expert lectures are also being organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities
mode of payment is both offline and online. The fee structure of the university is very reasonable the university also provides transparency in the fee structure. the university does not make additional charges to secure admission in any of the courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
the university offers a number of scholarships to students like if the student is having a minimum of 90% in the previous semester then 50% of the tution fee will be waived off in next semester.
Campus Life
the girl`s number is more in our course. but in many courses, the number of boys is more as compared to girls. a number of extracurricular activities are organized by the university in which both girls and boy actively participate together. both the sexes are considered equal.
Alumni/Alumna
our seniors are very helpful in every aspect. Alumni meet is also conducted by university early in which alumni share their experiences.
Admission
i want to complete my b.sc Hons chemistry from Chandigarh university. Chandigarh University is the only university that has all the facilities like better infrastructure and labs. Each lab is well furnished with instruments. So, i decided to take admission in CU.
Faculty
For one subject number of lectures depends on the credits of that course. Like if any subject is having 4 credits there are 4 lectures per week. Our faculty is very educated and experienced in teaching as well as in industries also which is a positive point to polish students.
