Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is completely based on further higher competitive examinations. We do go for industrial visits as a practice to field works. On campus interview is provided but as this field is completely under Government, the percentage of placements are low.
Placement Experience
Yes, internships are provided or otherwise, training is given. Many well-known companies come to our campus, open for interested students. General bio-data is sent later students are being sorted.
College Events
We have events where celebs come and perform and promote, and this twice in a semester, minimum. Technical events are yearly program. Quiz, literature related, acting skills related, cooking related competition are held. CU has organized All India Youth Fest at international level and All Punjab fest, are the name of few events held. Robotics club is highly supported.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Online and offline both modes are acceptable. Online modes are cards, net banking. Offline mode is a cash transaction. No additional fees are being charged. The charged fees are part of the main fees. The fees structure is clearly stated and explained. For convince, the part payment option is also provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship opportunities are given but it's based on two factors. First, state policy to follow Ambedkar policy. Second, clearing CUCET, Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test
Campus Life
In my department, I have seen more female in comparison to making. For any issue faced by students, Department of Student welfare takes care of it. No discrimination is faced. All festivals are happily celebrated and functions if possible are held. The external political issue cannot enter the premises.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, we do have a strong alumni association network. And we do have interaction with our seniors and alumni and those talks help us a lot.
Admission
The information I got through websites helped me to choose this University. Forensic Science is a new challenging field. This course provides with knowledge of multiple other fields, their interrelations and application. Along with books, knowledge is supported.
Faculty
Per week we have 3 lectures on each subject. Teachers are qualified and well experienced in their field along with knowledge of related fields. Up to date technology used, methods of solving different crime, challenging our observations, along with presentations and special lectures boost our working spirit.
