My PGDM Review

The course curriculum was carefully curated in order to provide us a holistic view of general management and the basic operations of corporate culture for the first two semesters. For the final two semesters, our learning became more specialization-centric.

Placements are pretty ordinary, but the college is trying to improve corporate connections and placements. They do have a placement cell, whose role is to create job opportunities for the students. The highest packages for our program goes as high as 30 LPA. Companies like Bank of America, Indian Oil, IBM were among the top recruiters during my batch.

AIMS college is very feasible especially in terms of the fee structure and the corresponding expenses. My annual fee was 1,85,000 INR, which was very cheap as per the industry standards. We had the best hostel facilities and even had an in-house medical facility.

Some scholarships are offered on the basis of the merit, while other scholarships offered by SPPU university. Police Department Scholarship is another scholarship offered by the state police department.

Hostel facilities are pretty good. And similar to other expenses, it is also pretty feasible. Hostel rooms are spacious. Boys hostel is relatively newer than the girls' hostel. We made lots of drool-worthy memories in the hostel and made a lot of good friends.

Admission is on the basis of CAT which is a state-level entrance test. A merit list is released on the basis of the test scores. Students who made it to the list are invited for the counseling process.

The faculty was very accommodating and friendly. They all were very qualified and experienced. They used their personal experiences and live examples to better explain a particular topic or model. The teaching was top-notch.
