Remarks

Our college is a very good college as compared to the environment of our city. Our city is a very small city so the presence of such good colleges makes the students very happy and relaxed about their future

Course Curriculum Overview

Inspite of being a very small college in a small city, our college have well equipped faculty which provide us with well-researched and thought of notes. We are always provided with detailed structure of courses to support our education.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities in our college is quite high as compared to other college in the City. If you get graduated from our college then there are high chances that you will have different opportunities to avail after finishing the courses.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is also cheap and also feasible in our college. You can get a degree of the Bachelors of art course in your desired stream done in almost 3000 rupees for all of the three years of the course.

Campus Life

Sports activities like table tennis, badminton, cricket help the students to remain active for all of their course year. Apart from it, the celebration of different festivals make the campus life of the students very enjoyable.

Admission

The admission procedure in our college is simple. To get admission in Bachelors of art I first had to visit the campus and submit the application form on campus in a hard copy. Finally after the confirmation of the admission I went in the campus with my important documents.

Although in our small town education is one of the most rare thing but all of the teachers that have been recruited in our college to deliver us lectures are very good and friendly. They teaches us with great enthusiasm.

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Faculty members of our college is very good
The thing i like that teacher in our college use projector to teach us
In our college, the students get to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare it with other colleges
In our college we dont have clean toilets, and the toilets smells very bad
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now thr college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil services examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, in our department out faculty trach us in a decent manners, but there are some improvements needed with time

I was interested in political and it influenced me set my decision to choose this course. The curriculum was good enough to prepare me for further academics. The frequency and timings of exams are regular. The difficulty of the exams depends on the student's preparations

Likes

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

When I saw a professor doing the hypnotize process. The curriculum activities are much help to the future or the present generation. For the course curriculum, it is huge so deep explanation is required. No problem in this aspect.

I like the way the teachers of our department interact with us. They are very friendly. The campus is very good. We had sitting place for students to sit and relax when they don't have classes. We had a good playground.
The students of silapathar college are quite wonderful, friendly, helpfull.

Dislikes

Things I don't like about my college is , the principal of our college is quite rude, doesn't interact with the students. He don't even allow to enter to his office.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose English literature because I want to study literature, wants to study more about people. In our department there are very few students, 60% are girls and 40% are boys. We had four teachers in our department, namely, DR. PUBALI BORA KASHYAP (Qualification: M.A, Ph.D., UGC- NET), PREM PRASAD SHARMA (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL), Gitima Deka (Qualification: M.A., M.PHIL), Raju Pegu (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL). The teachers take tests continuously.

My name appeared in the first list itself. Then I had secure my admission by completing all the formalities of the admission.

For admission, anyone who has passed his/her 10+2 in any stream can apply by going to the online admission portal(website) but at the time of mine, there was no such facility so We use to go college and apply directly by filling the form(paper-based).

It's very nice. I really liked it.

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.
