Entrance Preview

No entrance examination was there to get admission in the college. I got it simply by registering myself in time.

Internships Opportunities

It was a professional education college and not more than one or two companies came there in my time. However, I can't say anything about the stipend, as I didn't participated in any of the internship drive.

Placement Experience

2.5

As I mentioned earlier, it was a professional education college and not more than one or two companies came there in my time. However, I can't say anything about the stipend or package they offered as I didn't participated in any of the internship drive.

College Events

Events celebrated in college have a huge number in itself. But, I can't forget to mention my favorite ones that is Youth Festival, inter college competitions and farewell parties.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know much about this. However, there was a scholarship amt that was given to high scoring SC pupils.

Campus Life

Campus life is unforgettable one. I don't think one can forget it in his whole life. There were a number of activities related to culture were arranged in our college gor youth festivals and farewell parties. As sports is ckncerned from athletics to other indoor-outdoor games there were a number of tasks one can participate in.The gender ratio in college was almost 1:1 and no discrimination on basis of gender, racialism an religion was there.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors were a good friend of mine and in our college I didn't see any senior ragging a his juniors. Moreover, we don't know what's ragging, if my college os concerned.

Exam Structure

The college is affiliated with Kurukshetra university, Kurukshetra (Haryana) and conducted exam in semester system. Everything like labs and classes was arranged and scheduled perfectly. So it will be right to say that that was neither a hectic experience nor a chilled one.

Faculty

Faculty was all good. They all were very helpful and had a abundance of knowledge and tried there best to pass on the same to all of us. I'm very thankful to them for all that they taught me.

Mainly students pursuing bsc biotechnology doesnt want to go for placement as we are mainly towards pursuing masters. While the students who apply for placement through university . The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.

My experience at MKM College

Likes

I like this college because the theme of the campus is very good and i found it unique
Faculty's knowledge is up to the mark according to the subject needs and their teaching method is very easy to understand
Campus includes everything that a student need a good parking , wifi , library , canteen , stationary shop , etc

Dislikes

Placement drives happens only once a year it should be twice or thrice
Parking could be bigger coz it has space to make a big parking
Wifi speed is not that faster as it should be

Placement Experience:

Placement is average , direct campus placements are limited compared to professional courses , students generally become eligible for for the placement activities in the final year. Personally after completing my degree I plan to either pursue higher studies or look for a suitable job

The College Camaraderie

Likes

The campus was huge, and though infrastructure wasn't modern it was spacious and indulgent.
The faculty was especially kind and generous. The lab was also fully functional.
The library had a large range of books available with the curriculum also being up to date.

Dislikes

The male students of the college tends to get a bit rude and invasive sometimes.
The classes of other domains weren't regular.
Not much availibility of extra curricular activities for science major students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.
