What Students Say

Likes

Laboratories are well mantained with proper staff.
Laboratories contain every essential equipment required for our hands on practice
Faculty is very supported and communicative towards the students aim and scope.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of course like more Lab work, with also bending towards the research oriented work. This seeks me towards choosing this course. Difficulty level for exam is moderate while the frequency is 1 time per month and 1 sessional examination for a semester.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell is very much active at the time of concluding year of our programme. Which helps us to cover every field to be placed after the conclusion of the programme. Mainly students pursuing bsc biotechnology doesnt want to go for placement as we are mainly towards pursuing masters. While the students who apply for placement through university . Percentage for placement should be around 80 percent .

Fees and Financial Aid

Detailed fee structure is like - 180000 per year including 2 semester tution fees hostel fees is excluded also if student is seeking scholarship wrt to his 12th class result. Also their is some cutoff in fees for reservation students.

Campus Life

My campus life was up to my mark. As the crowd of college is very good . Also with the facilities in the classroom is very good and also our university have sports event named as sanghathan which is held every year. This sports events help us to provide more time towards physical activity and we get involve in the social interactions also with the students of different programme participating in the event.

Admission

Because of its lab. Biotechnology lab of amity gurgaon was very clean and were carrying every essential equipment which made me to choose this college. Also Amity gurgaon Biotechn lab standards were up to my demand.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good. Average student count in a class is 20-30 which is easy to operate by any of the faculty. Faculty helps us a lot towards opting for future purpose. Level of examination is moderate for the student studying 3 times a week.

Night Life

Panchgaon Restaurent is one of my Nightout spot with the F9 go karting track. We all our friend hangout their mainly once in a month . Also cafeterias facilities is very good. We get a huge variety of food in the university .

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.

My experience at MKM College

Likes

I like this college because the theme of the campus is very good and i found it unique
Faculty's knowledge is up to the mark according to the subject needs and their teaching method is very easy to understand
Campus includes everything that a student need a good parking , wifi , library , canteen , stationary shop , etc

Dislikes

Placement drives happens only once a year it should be twice or thrice
Parking could be bigger coz it has space to make a big parking
Wifi speed is not that faster as it should be

Placement Experience:

Placement is average , direct campus placements are limited compared to professional courses , students generally become eligible for for the placement activities in the final year. Personally after completing my degree I plan to either pursue higher studies or look for a suitable job

The College Camaraderie

Likes

The campus was huge, and though infrastructure wasn't modern it was spacious and indulgent.
The faculty was especially kind and generous. The lab was also fully functional.
The library had a large range of books available with the curriculum also being up to date.

Dislikes

The male students of the college tends to get a bit rude and invasive sometimes.
The classes of other domains weren't regular.
Not much availibility of extra curricular activities for science major students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.
