This college has it’s hospital where the student can practice his/her learning, it is affiliated to kerala university of health sciences, Thrissur. They conduct conferences which helps students get external exposure and contributes towards overall learning.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes studying history of ayurvedic system, anatomy, toxicology, pharmalogy, pharmaceutical science, skin, obstetrics, gynaecology, ENT and subjects like this which contribute to the wholesome knowledge of learning of the student.
Placement Experience
In this 5 year course there would be 1 year for rotational internship- the last one. Students are not entitled to any stipend. But this proves to be an excellent practical learning opportunity. After completion of BAMs, one can become a doctor and open his/her own clinic, become a teacher, drug manufacturer, health supervisor, therapist, clinical research associate, the opportunities are many in health care and life science industry.

Admission
This course has 50 seats. It’s a 5.5 years where 1st, 2nd and 3rd years are of 12 month and 4th is of 18 months followed by a 12 month internship. The admission process is simple and can be done easily online through the website https://vaidyaratnamcollege.org/

The faculties are in different departments like Department of Agadathantra and Vyavahara ayurveda, Dravyagunavijnanam, Kaumarabhruthyam and many others which has a faculty base of multiple teachers who are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields.
