Course Curriculum Overview

The course of BBM is a 3 year course divided into 6 semesters. After this course we develop managerial skills by giving quality management education to us, its ensure employability, career excellence, It mould socially responsible team of executives.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities and placement in our college is less, college should focus on this area and try to get more placement for the students of our department. College should have more tie ups so that more placement opportunities are given to us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for BBM course is around 25000-30000 rupees per year. The fee of this course is almost feasible to all students there are various other charges which are not included in this. Hostel and transportation charges are extra and are applicable when we take this facility.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got James Thomas Memorial Endowment, i got this scholarship of Rs.50,000/-. The scholarship is given to the top scorer of B.B.M. programme every year only to our department. A part of its is interest is paid to department to student on merit basis.

Campus Life

We have many extra curricular activities few of them are Bridge Course, Personality development, SEBI Financial Education Programme, Continuous parent-teacher interactions, Group Discussions, role play, mock interview, marketing games, HR and management games, management fest etc.

Alumni/Alumna

ASJOMA is alumni association functioning in the college offering their assistance, both personal and financial, for the initiatives in the Department. The annual meeting of the members is held on 26 December every year in the college auditorium along with the many other alumni associations in the college.

Admission

Admission to the BBM course was given to me based on merit. 50% seats are reserved and admission to this is given based on merit. I applied for this course through online application. I got admission based on my marks scored in 12th standard.

We have a good faculty in our department. Our faculty are very well educated, all have good background. They are very supportive to us, our faculty help us in guiding for future steps. They guide us to concentrate on education and solve our problems.

My Experience at the university

Likes

I personally loved the campus environment, it's in the complete hilly area. We have very clean hostel facilities for both girls and boys separately. Gym facility is also there. Boys and girls ratio is 6:4
The acadmic staff is too good, there're quite friendly and supportive, they also teach very well, regular internals and assignments are given. The class room is also spacious, no uncomfort.
The matrons (non academic staff) are also so friendly, we have help desk for any related queries, the best quality of this university is they listen to what students want and need, if it is needed they'll surely make the change.

Dislikes

As I'm a non malayali in kerala university, I felt little uncomfortable at start, as most of the staff members and students are communicating in Malayalam.
Apart from gym, we really don't have a great facilities for physical activities, there is one ground but it's not in a good condition. Not every faculty is so good, few teachers will not teach in english they use their mother tounge.
Basically the university is still under construction, that's why we frequently get disturbed by the construction noice.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

One thing to mention is the cleanliness of the college which is absolutely something we have to appreciate! The bathrooms and the classrooms are always clean and well sanitized
Similarly the hostel bathroom bedrooms and the corridors are also spotless.
the faculty members are amazing..they teach with dedication especially prajith sir who deals with business statistic and logic in bba first sem

Dislikes

When we join this college they told us there would be buggy services for out transportion to the gate to hostel incase if we wanted to go outside or anywhere but in reality there is no such services..when we request it security always deny.
Securities always deny and dont not consider our request for buggy they always makes the excuse that the higher authorities would scold them and all
The hostel food is trash.some days like sunday dinner and wednesday dinner are absolutely flavorless and bland we often does not eat on thoses days and we sleep on a empty stomach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

My College Experience : The Ups and Downs

Likes

There teacher's positive and friendly behaviour is very good.
this college providing college bus. and final year students are travelling without fee.
In this college, studentrs can interact all persons. Becouse this college is staying in a village.

Dislikes

In this college there no canteen facility.So students are want to go outside stores
The Private bus are not on time. Similarly, the raiway gate will be closed for half an hour due to the passing of the train.
library is not open every days and collection of books is very poor.

The college is near to my house and it is a very good institution with excellent teachers with different types of sports, arts and other entertainment activities including yoga. I like the infrastructure of the college and several times film shooting were conducted in the college by famous directors.
