Remarks

My college is good and allrounder in almost all the activities like studies, experiments, sports etc.in my knowledge they have done nothing for bad remarks

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam, only took admission on the basis of cut off and percentage. I choose this course because i am interested in doing b.com(prog.) as it has good scope in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com is a course which has 25-26 papers in main which helps the student to built their their intellectual skills and also helps in building their personality. This course helps the students to gain such valuable information which is very useful in their life.

Internships Opportunities

No, in my college only some of the company's come to choose some of the intelligent and topper students for internship. Company's who offers internships also offers general/fair stipends to their hired students due to which students morale built on the very large scale.

Placement Experience

In my college, many students get placements and job opportunities. Some of the company's like in costs, usha, tata etc. and many other it companies come to my college to select topper of the course.

College Events

Many events are celebrated in my college like farewell party, fests, sports functions, award functions, antardhwani function, and many other functions which are celebrated in my college and participation in all the functions are very large.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure of my college and especially of my course is very feasible. It helps the poor students to get education at very low fees. moreover my college also provides fees concession facility to the people/students who are in need of this facility.

I have not availed any of the scholarship/loan facility from my college but i have heard that my college offers many scholarships to the people who have scored in their competitive exams.college also provides fees concession to the people who needs this facility.

In my knowledge, campus life is the best part of your life. You have to make many friends and relationships which mostly last longer many times.you have spending most of the time in making new friends and enjoying with them.

In my knowledge, there is no hostel aur mess food facility in my college.but if any type of facility is available in my college, then i am sure it will good.

My college seniors are very friendly with outside people. They have me alot in many matters in which i have stuck and not able to take decisions. They have guided me in their best capacity due to which i am on the right track.

Exam structure of my college is also very good at the time of exams teachers do very strict invigilation due to which students scores according to their best capacity.

Good and experienced faculty all the teachers in swami shraddhanand college are highly qualified and experienced that whatever they teaches the students, students are able to apply that information/things in their lifestyle very easily. 80-90% teachers are doctors who have done/pursuing masters in various subjects/fields.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Likes

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

i dont like any thing in this college

during the addmission time i dont have that much knowlage which i have know this is the first college i have alloted in 3rd list and i was scared that i dont want to miss that too thats why i choose this college other then that if i have any other option to cahnge my college i will definetly changed that i have to travel 2 hours for the college if i want to attend the 8:30 class i have to take the first metro from the neartest metro station and evry day 4 hours travel was hactek when i reach home i just went to sleep i dont have energy for take 10 mins for my food that was my bad i was not awear about the frizeing systerm and i was afred that my be i dont get admission in other college thats why i just take the first apportunity and just leand with it the admiddion process is very confusing i asks many people abaout that then i did what every i can i waas very sad after i got to know the things becous 3 years is a big time and evry day i ahve to weast my 4 hours in traveling that why i tred form migration but from my college migration was not allowed and i have to score 80% for maigratiob...Read More
